This game is confusing and hard to follow. At one point, I had a key, but couldn't see where to use it. I finally hit the hint button and it showed a place under the statue. It was so dark, I had no idea what it was until I look at the tag saying it was a chest. Duh. Can't work with what you can't see.

I also hated having to go to the journal to read the clues. It was annoying. Clues were everywhere, as were the puzzles. And I was annoying, again, to be told you didn't have access to areas. Why open them at all if we can't access them yet?

The puzzles were often complicated, taking several steps and sets of clues to complete them. There were times when I was about the finish a puzzle, having followed the clues, etc. but there was a missing piece that wasn't yet found before I could complete it.

I got tired and bored with running around and having so many things being juggled, that I finally closed the game without finishing the free sample.

These developers were simply too clever in their approach, adding too many things to each puzzle. I'll pass. I don't like being annoyed when I'm playing for pleasure.

Not that great

The atmosphere of this game, haunted house, bodies in boxes, cages, everywhere you turn, taking out/putting in organs, creepy labs, eyes/organs in jars, crazy woman with a knife, you get the picture, gets extremely tiresome. I prefer more uplifting scenery that makes it fun to go back. Some of the puzzles didn't work well, and you had to try too hard to move a piece, pulling at it continually to figure out how to move it etc. It did have some interesting concepts in it, how the house could change, and some good puzzles, but it just wasn't enough. It's one of the very few games that I just thought, enough, not even having a good time. If you like creepy labs and houses and dead people, you'll love this game.

Zero glitches, five star FUN

I've read in some other reviews that there were initially glitches, but they had been fixed. Apparently that's true, as I had no problems aside from the occasional puzzle that was a tad particular about where you touched.

I love that the storyline has all the humor of the past MCF's & the little Easter eggs that are sprinkled throughout are a fun bonus.

The puzzles are in a similar vein to past MCF's too, in that they are layered and challenging at times. This I love, because if there's one thing I hate, it's a game that holds my hand.

The only negatives I can see are that body count does rack up, (didn't bother me but prob. not for the younger players) and that it felt a little rushed during the final few puzzles & bonus game. But very few gripes here. A solid 4 1/2 to 5 star game. The most enjoyable game for me in recent memory.
