Almost there

I like the app and use it everyday. I would so appreciate it if the developer team made a widget. I use the app so frequently it would be great to be able to check my favorites at a glance.

Response to developer reaching out for details on widget idea:

Thanks so much for the response! I usually don’t expect to hear back from the developers. For the iOS widget, what I had in mind was something very much along the lines of what “transit” (transit app inc) offers. Nothing more nor less than a quick way to view your favorited (starred) bus times at a glance. Users would then be able to check bus times quickly without having to open to unlock their phone—let alone navigate through the home screen or the myStopMobile app. This would be very useful when you’re in a pinch for time, or alternatively, when you don’t want to be fumbling through your phone (like now when it’s cold outside!). Could an iOS widget be on the development road map?

Developer Response

Developer here. What're you imaging for this "widget"?

It works perfectly for me.

This new update is great. The My Stop app finally fits the screen of the iPhone 6s Plus and above, and it's a more modern look. My only problems are that when I swipe around the map, I accidentally open the side bar, or drop a pin. Panning should be made smoother. Also I wish there was a way to display departures in both "hour" format and with the ETD in minutes, that would be very nice to have. Also, I would like to have the option to use the hybrid map again. That was my preferred map on the old version, and I would like to see it return. And finally, I wish there was a native iPad version. The iPhone version works, although it amplified the iPhone "inconsistencies" that I mentioned in this review, it would be nice to see a native version! Overall good and needed update.

Developer Response

Thanks for your feedback. Note that there is now a setting on the Settings page that allows you to choose how to see the times. By default it will show a countdown number of minutes if the arrival or departure time is within 60 minutes, but you can change the setting to always show the time of day instead id you prefer.

Updates are ruining app

The app is more dependable now, and has more easy to read visuals. I like the app and I love how very route alternates in color making it easier to know which route I need. I don't understand the meaning of the clocks displayed on the map however, half of them never load a time frame or location/street name. I don't get why they even are displayed when they serve no purpose.
I really depend on this app a lot since it came out. But after the recent updates the app seems to now not be able to load bus details as far as single stop location times. Please fix this! It was working nicely before the last update and now it's just crappy.

Developer Response

Thanks for the update. The clocks on the map indicate "timepoints" which are generally major stops with published times. Tapping on a timepoint should show the next arrival time for that route at that stop at the bottom of the map. If this is not what you are seeing please send us example problem stops. Thanks.
