Still not working
I enrolled into the paid subscription so I could use the locking and unlocking features. Worked for about a week and a half. After that it keep sending me back the the enrollment page, but if I try to enroll again and pay again it show the current subscription, I even extended another year by the suggestion of support to try to get it to work(they did pay me back for the extension only) but it still would not work.
I have been working with a tech agent since early June but we're already in August and still they can't solve the issue. I complained to Subaru but they say it's not them but xm radio and att so they can't help. They sent me a cool little speaker for my trouble but come on I bought a brand new car legacy 2016, I expect to have a 2016 capable vehicle.
I'm getting to be done with it all and even wondering now if I can sell the car for something different like a trade at another dealer or something.
Can't even begin to use this
I just bought a 2017 Outback and got my email for my free time period of the starlink and so on. I can't scroll to finish entering my information to create my account. The best I've got is down to selecting my 3rd security question but unable to scroll to enter my answer. Haven't tried on a computer, but for a mobile app you would expect to be able to create your account without issues. Really unhappy with this. Tried it with my phone browser and chrome with no luck. Text messages can't even work with my phone. Need an update from Subaru. This is ridiculous. And no, I'm not another dealer or company, I'm a real 2017 Subaru Outback owner. Love my car, hate this app. My buddy can even start his other brand car from his app, but Subaru is struggling in this department for sure. Thanks for a great buying experience. Just wish this would work.
Works as stated
Not sure why so many negative reviews. Either they are trolls trying to make things sounds bad or they are having some totally different experience than me. App works great and functions as stated.
I have had this app and car for a couple months now. Works really well for me on my iPhone 6plus. Excellent tracking of my car so I always know where my kids are and I frequently use the remote unlock feature which is really nice. I have yet to see any of the problems others describe.
