myTo-Dos by DoApp is the perfect tool for today's busy information worker. Never again forget a to-do for the day, whether it be be personal, family, or work-related. Enter as many items as you like, by date and time range -- even enter things you want to remember weeks and months ahead, if you wish!
You can organize items by category (work, personal, family, volunteer, etc), and set a priority level for each item. The "myTo-Dos" app works just like your built-in iPhone Calendar, so you can add to and check your to-do items in the same way you're used to using your calendar throughout the day. Nothing new to learn!
But the best part of all? You have the option of emailing any of your to-do list items to whomever you want -- to your spouse, a friend, a coworker, your boss, anyone. It's a great way to share an item or load-balance your schedule -- say, when you can't pick up the kids this afternoon, and can just email that to-do item, with the pickup address, to your spouse. Or ask a colleague to make an important customer call for you when a meeting conflict suddenly comes up. The app lets you scroll up and down your list of to-dos at any time to assess your backlog of things to remember. Then choose which items to delete as done, or decide if you want to pass along any of them to someone else by email, with simply a click. "myTo-Dos" makes life easier!

A few suggestions
I like the simplicity, appearance and interface of this application. However, a few additions could make it even more useful to me.
1. I don't understand the point of having a category option if the todo lists can't be sorted by category.
2. It would be neat if you could have the home screen icon display the number of tasks that are due that day. Much like the E-mail app displays the number of e-mails in your inbox. I have seen other apps use this feature and the number there really draws your attention to that application. Since there is no reminder feature for due or overdue tasks, this may be a way to alert the user.
3. Somewhat related to my first suggestion, it would be helpful to be able to sort and hide tasks. For example to sort by priority, due date, or category. Or also to View All, Hide Finished (without deleting them, although this would probably involve adding a check-off box) and View Only Today's Tasks.
I am currently using both DoBot Todos and myTo-Dos because each have features I like over the other. I would be able to get rid of one, but I am torn over which I like best. These enhancements would certainly help me decide in this great little application's favor. In fact with these additions I would gladly pay a little money.
Nice and simple, but needs work
Of the free todo apps available, this is my choice. When I open a todo app, I don't want to have to navigate through a bunch of submenus. Just show me the list. I also want to able to select a due date for my tasks. Lastly, I want an inidicator on the dashboard icon telling me how many tasks I have pending. Without that reminder, I wouldn't remember that I have pending tasks (if I could remember, I probably wouldn't need a task organizer). There are other task organizers available that have one of two of these features, but none of the free apps have all three features.
I would improve this app by jazzing up its rather simple interface. It looks very generic. Also, some people like to check off tasks, but still be able to see them. With this app, you check off a task by deleting it. This app also allows you categorize your tasks, but the categories are hard set and can't be edited. Also, the Delete button appears over the priority. Not really a big deal, but makes the interface look sloppy.
Bug fix needed
Very annoying problems occur (especially to do with setting of start and end times) if you have regional settings other than US. Setting regional settings to US solves many of the issues complained about by other reviewers--but then you have to deal with the silly US settings... Developers, please remember that we don't all live in the US or use US settings! (Same goes for main apps like Yahoo weather--may ultimately be an Apple issue...) Would be nice to be able to set time of day for tasks. Also, mailing todo notices should provide smarter headings so that they are more easily incorporated into iCal when received. Of course if Apple had included iCal tasks in the iPhone Calendar then all of this would be mute...
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
