There are many basic yet surprising things to learn about the inner workings of trees and flowers. How do plants turn carbon dioxide into food? How do flowers become fruits? Through the use of colorful interactive models, Namoo will help students gain a deeper understanding of the science at work. Namoo goes beyond the textbook! It is a multi-layered journey where you can play, experiment, and learn with ease.

Namoo features nine chapters. Each chapter is dedicated to a part of a plant and its function, including roots, stems, leaves, and flowers. Two chapters provide an in-depth look at cell structure and photosynthesis may awaken the scientist within!

In the world of Namoo, dynamic visuals are accompanied by clear explanations. Every tap of the screen yields a new bit of information. With students in mind, we have also included comprehensive reading blocks for each chapter. Namoo is designed to be a one-stop solution and an immersive tour through plant life.

Beautiful app but some incorrect information

Clint Arthemis Golub

Under the portion where the app explains how the evaporation of leaves off the stem of a tree works, it says excess water collecting on the leaves is called dew. This is incorrect. That process where water comes from within the plant is called guttation. Off the Wikipedia Article of guttation: “Guttation is not to be confused with dew, which condenses from the atmosphere onto the plant surface.” Also, the slides in the app need to be slightly modified for iPhone X screens and few grammatical errors fixed. Besides that though, this is literally the perfect app to have your homeschooler or little student take with them into the woods for an educational exploration of their backyard! Great job app devs! Please make more amazing apps like this for learners of all ages!

Very educational

My 5 year old son loves this game. He has started learning the whole touch screen thing. He loves the fact that touching the parts of a plant and the app is extremely useful in teaching us basic concepts of plants, how they grow, how we use parts of them and so on. Cool graphics and helpful for children also adults expand knowledge of plants
