GOOD ALL-ROUND GAME
So this game overall is pretty good. I just feel like there could've been more features added. Something other then blacktop, mycareer, season, or quick game. Things like Myteam would be nice. Some other improvements would be things like allowing another music app to play in the background, allowing users to set the mycareer quarter time and the difficulty of mycareer. There should also be a feature that allows you to create your own shoe. I feel like 2k17 had a downgrade in controls compared to 2k16. I also think that it should have a mypark. I also think that you should fix the fact that it saves every time you per that page that shoes the shoes, animations, badges, and upgrades cause its annoying. I think that you should try to add a story line and more cut scenes. Some in game mycareer flaws are the fact that its like super hard for your teammates to score without dimer badge, also there is a lot of scenarios where you get an a+ excellent release miss, and a lot of the time in my games my teammates dont pass the ball even if I'm open and its annoying. Its also super hard to get contact dunks, so getting posterizer badge is like extra hard, you should be able to get it at the same time you get highlight film badge. 2k18 should have the same controls as 2k16 tbh.
So Nba 2K17 was something I was hyped for, seeing as I am a fan of the series. However, this game has so many problems that need fixing that I think that 2K is doing this on purpose. There are glitches with the replay (screen just turns black after certain dunks), unusual things the CPU opponents do (glitching through the player he is supposed to guard), and a terrible default control system. Seriously, the controls are broken so much, especially with passing, that it seems randomized who my player passes to, even if he is blatantly facing a teammate, more often than not, he will pass to the guy on the other side of the court. The dribbling is useless, and when you want to get ankle breakers, the player just seems to be doing random spins and dribbling in circles (literally). Also, it seems the shooting system is basically controlled by the CPU, since hot players seem to cool down in 3 seconds flat, missing wide open shots and layups. However, this game is very addicting, and will leave you playing for quite a bit of time. Did I mention that it drains battery quickly? In total, this game actually would be a good game, except for all the glitches and the terrible controls.
0 stars, awful game (made me rate at least 1)
This downgrade from the previous NBA2k16 is atrociously clear. Not only are the control buttons harder to use, they often don't even work when you press them. The dribbling in the game is one way NBA made their game worse than the previous one. There is no dribble stick anymore, and the only thing you can do to get by a defender is dribble right at them, which often results in a turnover. Next, consistency in shooting the ball is abysmal in the joke of a game. Whenever a player gets hot, they are more likely to miss their next shot even if it's a perfect release. Apparently the game doesn't want you to do well. However when the cpu gets hot it's game over. Maybe the worst part about this pathetic excuse for a 2k game is the passing. You can never, and I mean NEVER, control who you pass too. Even if you're facing the person you want to pass it to, usually it will pass it to either the other team, or somebody you didn't want to pass too. Obviously this is an early version and 2k needs to upgrade and improve many parts of this game. Is it worth 8 dollars? LOL. It's not even worth it if it were free at time being.
