The NC Child Support Calculator calculates the child support obligation under Worksheet “A”, Worksheet “B”, & Worksheet “C” of the North Carolina Child Support Guidelines.
The NC Child Support Guidelines are updated every three to four years. The Conference of Chief District Court Judges last updated the guidelines in January 2011. They are expected to update guidelines again in January 2014.
You should consult an attorney licensed in your jurisdiction for legal advice concerning child support. For more information on child support in North Carolina, see http://www.RiceFamilyLaw.com/family/child-support.htm.
What's New in Version 2.0
Updated to the Current and New North Carolina Child Support Guidelines Effective 1/1/2011.
Now includes Worksheets "A", "B", & "C"
Automatically determines the appropriate worksheet for you base upon your answers to simple questions.
Allows Email of Final Results.
Includes calculation of "Self-Sufficiency Reserve".
The new version is great because you can calculate your child support obligation regardless of whether you are the custodial or the non custodial parent. It also lets you email the results to your attorney for discussion.
New Version Rocks!
The new version is great. I can play "what if" scenarios and email each to save and compare so I was able to figure out what is owed if dad pays the child care v. mother, including dental in medical insurance, etc.
This app is a nice tool! It would be cool if you could make one to view your account??
