NEBtools brings New England Biolabs’ most popular web tools to your iPhone and iPad, allowing you to plan your experiments from anywhere. Use Enzyme Finder to select a restriction enzyme by category, recognition sequence, overhang or name to find information on that enzyme. Determine buffer and reaction conditions for experiments requiring two restriction enzymes using the Double Digest Finder. When using either of these tools, look for Time-Saver and HF enzymes for the ultimate in convenience. Use Tm Calculator to calculate optimum annealing temperature for PCR primers when using NEB polymerases and buffers. Use NEBioCalculator to convert DNA or RNA mass to moles, calculate insert ligation amounts, convert OD to concentration, and calculate basic dilution and molarity. NEB Tools for iOS also enables quick and easy access to NEB Technical Support by phone, email, or web when you need it.
NEBtools has been updated to work on both iPhone and iPad running the latest versions of iOS and includes many design enhancements and new functionality. Redesigned Enzyme Finder and Double Digest Finder allow easier enzyme selection. Double Digest Finder includes detailed digestion protocols. NEBtools v2.0.0 also includes several popular calculators from the NEBioCalculator web app.

A great update!
NEB fixed all the issues i had in the older version. Nice work!
Great for quick reference!
If you're like our lab, and not everyone has the catalogue, then this app is great. When you can't find your catalogue because someone "borrowed" it... again... just pull out the app!
Downsides are it's obviously not going to be as in depth as the catalogue or full online resources, but it's a quick reference guide. It's also only with the new buffers now, so if you're stocked up on buffers 1-4 then go ahead and grab the catalogue.
We use all NEB enzymes in our lab, and this app is awesome! I used to go online to look up enzyme info (such as activity in different buffers, optimum buffer for double digests, incubation time & temp, and whether an enzyme can be heat inactivated.) I highly recommend this app if you use NEB enzymes.
Promega also has a good iPhone app worth looking at on the app store.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
