A great second screen experience

I'm playing on an iPad air and the game runs well for me. At first I didn't really see the hook over the overwatch leveling mode. But then I sat next to a buddy on the couch and played along with him last night and it turned into this REALLY fun second screen experience.

I could drop way points for him on the fly and guide him. But also theres an Overwatch mode where I can give him boosts. Refill his nitrus and heal the car. And I can grief other players in the game for him. And as I do the overwatch mode levels up and gives me more abilities.

Combine that with the already super tense racer mode in the main game where the longer you stay out, the higher your multiplyer and the more cash you get. But if you die before you bank it you lose all the money…

Yeah it was a blast. We were shouting at each other. "GET ME TO A REPAIR SHOP. OH GOD. MORE NITRUS."

It was actually, I think, way more compelling than the online multiplayer mode for the consoles. I don't yet get why he and I would want to play online together really. Even with auto log playlists they've never really managed the sandbox fun of Burnout Paradise again. But if I was sitting next to him on the couch with my ipad it'd be a ton of fun.

Unreliable application

There are a lot issues that need to be addressed in this app. First, it takes forever for the app to recognize any new friends you have made over the PSN that currently play this game, and when it does, half of the time it doesn't show them as being online playing the game, when they are. Second, it has too many connection issues. Can't fetch autolog data, not connected to the PS4 system, missions fail to start, lagging, profile or friends information windows fails to show anything, just a white box, not being able to log into the app at all, and not remembering login information etc. Also, about the random player interaction. It only seems to show new random players when the app is closed and restarted. There needs to be a button to load new random players onto the map. If that is what the map refresh button is supposed to do, then it doesn't work correctly. Please address these and other players reported issues. Thanks.

Thanks but no thank's 😢

So let's see where can I start on this app and the actual game ( rivals ). When I started to play and use the app I thought it was so awesome that you could use a app for a game that I was playing at the same time. It was so cool and neat but the more I played the more of my hype got less interest in it ( the game & app ) they are so full of bugs it makes AC3 look like a master piece. I mean don't get me wrong I played & used the app un till I platinum but what's going on with the app it stop'ed working from one day to the other it no longer shows's me online or anyone for that matter. This this game and app have been a big let down 😞 I did not understand why people were talking bad about EA and how they run there games to the ground and these two games just showed me how much EA and there affiliates acre for there customers us the gamers. But I guess they don't care about us!! So with that being said EA products are dead to me good bye and so long EA ( 1 less customer )
