Pick up the real-world cars you’ve always wanted, from the Subaru BRZ to the BMW M4, McLaren 650s, Porsche 911, and more. Then trick them out with the hottest customization system on mobile, from spots like the Mod Shop and the Black Market, giving you over 2.5 million custom combos to play with. Your rides are waiting – take them to the stages or streets to go head-to-head versus the competition and prove yourself.

Steer onto the streets of Blackridge, driving reckless and juiced as sparks fly. Accelerate over jumps and around debris, into traffic, against walls, and through high-speed Nitro Zones. Flip on the nitrous and thrust yourself into another level of adrenaline-fueled driving and drifting. Around every corner is a fresh race as you clash with local crews and local cops. It’s a world full of wannabe drivers – can you stay in front and earn respect?

Never back down as you race anyone crazy enough to take you on, leave them gapped, and increase your rep. Dig, drift, drag, and roll your ride to wins with police on your tail, hitting each inch of the map hard by the time you reach the big end. Burn rubber in over 1,000 challenging races – and that’s just the starting line. Be notorious, own the streets, and score the world’s best cars. Because one ride is never enough!

Customer Reviews

Great but could be better.

The reason I'm giving four stars is because like any game it has it's ups and downs. The ups being very beautiful graphics, amazing customization, and addictive gameplay. The downs being very expensive in game currency. But while everyone complains about that, you really don't NEED to purchase any god to make progress, although it does help make it faster. Otherwise this is a very good game and other than not having all that many cars, it is very good. To add onto the downs side, I just spent about a full week on the proving grounds event only to get a glitched ford falcon. Every time I start the game up I have to take the hood off and on, and the same with the spoiler or they are not on the car. I can actually see the interior of my car through the "hood-hole", there is not even an engine actually. I would really like if you could fix this because I love that car more than any other and can't enjoy its beauty.

Money for nothing

The game requires you to spend money to win certain parts, like the special cars. The really objectionable part is that they give you almost nothing unless you put down $20 or more at a time. You can play for free, but you won't win certain parts of the game. As long as you know that you should be happy. I am just upset as someone who has made a couple purchases. They were not worth it at all.
Update. The gameplay gets boring. It's like the nfs version of FarmVille. You have to repeat the same races over and over again just to get parts and it's like pulling a slot machine handle hoping that this time you'll get the part you need.
Furthermore, the rival races are just awful if you get just a little behind. You can't see anything in front of you and the rival car coasts through objects in front of you as if they're not there, but they are there and you get the privilege of seeing them a fraction of a second before slamming into them. Quitting.

Somewhat disappointing

I have been a fan of the Need for Speed series since the very early PC versions which I actually prefer for many reasons. I decided to install this latest incarnation so I had the game available on my iPad. This game reminds me of NFS Undercover (I never played NFS Rivals) as far as game mechanics, race selections, and power-ups. I was not a fan of this type of progression architecture, but nevertheless has its fan base. My biggest gripe was the drift mechanics. I finally was able to do decent drift. So I retract my complaint of this. You just have to give it time and get the "feel" of it. I am keeping the 3 stars because as I progressed further into the game there were more and more races where you drive into opposing traffic that somehow the computer racers miraculously made it through unscathed every time. After several of these it was tine for me to delete the game. This is a ridiculous example of racing that no one in their right mind would attempt. Pass.
