Great, but...

I love Netflix and watch it often on my computer. However, when I downloaded the app onto my iPod, there were certain difficulties that were not present when I used it on my computer.

For starters, it is almost impossible to search anything without the app crashing. I have contacted the help people and have received nothing that is useful in fixing the issue. I have deleted and re-downloaded the app several times to have the same result. I would very much appreciate it if this problem was resolved.

Next, I cannot choose which episodes of a TV series I wish to watch. For example, if I want to watch a certain episode of Futurama, I have to watch every episode until then. And there are many episodes of that certain TV series. I would also appreciate it if this problem could be addressed.

What I do like about the app is the quality of the videos. The picture is clear and I enjoy the audio quality as well. The sound is focused and easily controlled with the volume switch.

I also enjoy the variety of shows and movies that are to be watched. My only concern for this is that I would like more recent episodes of shows that are still aired. For example, Jessie has many new episodes and an entirely new season, none of which ate showed in the Netflix series.

Trouble with Chromecast

I have a Google chromecast which normally works wonderfully with Netflix. However, if my internet cuts out while I'm using the netflix app, the app gives me problems. The problems start when my internet comes back. The app won't let me connect to my Chromecast because it thinks it is already connected. Closing out and restarting the app doesn't work. I have to go into another app, connect it to my Chromecast, then go back to Netflix and connect it to my Chromecast (which still sometimes does not work). Then, when I go to resume whatever I was watching, it either starts over or starts at a random point. Once, the movie started playing on my Chromecast but the app did not recognize that this was happening so there was no way to pause the movie.

Otherwise, love it.

Won't switch profiles, lost My List

No matter how many times I quit out of the app and restart my iPad and log in/out of my netflix account it still won't go to the profile I selected. I don't know what happened with the coding for the location of My List but it's always moving around, so I have to keep scrolling down and searching for it instead of it just being at the very top of the page when I open the app. Originally it was at the very bottom of the page but now it'll be 3rd from the bottom or just smack dab in the middle of the page. This wouldn't be a problem if it was in the genre list on the side pop out menu but it isn't there. Because the app is always so slow you end up waiting for five minutes for every single movie poster to load before you can even see the stuff on your list. Put my list back on the top of the page.
