Open the Mac App Store to buy and download apps.
Quickly and easily check your wifi network strength in your menu bar. You can also quickly view your network name, your public IP address, your local IP address, and your MAC adress from the menu bar.
The percentage in the toolbar icon represents the strength of your connection between your router and your computer. The best number possible would be 100%, but this isn't necessarily possible with every router and computer pairing.
The noise represents the amount of noise that is interfering with the connection. For this representation, a lower number is better.
What's New in Version 1.4
-Removed pinging due to memory issues and inaccuracy. We hope to place this back in once it is more accurate.
When I downloaded to test, I also downloaded with 4 different Wifi Strength Indicators apps ran all 4 at the same time and this is the only one that was way off. Uninstalling. Wouldn’t recommend. How do you base your signal strengh Support team?
App works great. I have it running on several Macs. No worries.
this app continuously loops since the 1.4 update in 10.8.2 and despite three requests for help, i have gotten no response from the developer. therefore i have had to uninstall, although i do keep reinstalling and checking. u will only notice this if u monitor ur console or check ur full set of preferences in this app. one will be hanging (usually one of the ip addresses).
