THIS APP IS USELESS
I was so excited to try the new app. I use the old app all the time. I thought with the scanner and the prices showing on the list would make my shopping trip so much easier. After all, you can see what you spend before the check out! I put my list in. First, my store doesn't have Wifi so it took forever to open the app in the store. Then when it did open, not all of my list was showing. While I memorize some items on my list, who remembers all the items they wanted on sale. I shopped the ones on the list and about two thirds through the store the whole list appeared, I did not go back for the ones I missed. I was checking off the items as I picked them up and tried the scanner for items on the list that weren't on sale. Once you use the scanner, all of you checked items become unchecked. So now you have to go through you cart and check the ones you got again. If you leave the list for any reason or if you phone times out, it clears out everything you've done so far. The last two aisles of the store I went back to the old app. You really need to test these apps before releasIng, this one is useless.
Now we have an app that doesn't work and they disabled the original app so now there is no useable app. Great customer service!
Now the old app is disabled, the new app is unusable, and the website also unusable. It's almost like they're trying to alienate customers!

This app is a nightmare. Takes forever to get from one item to the next. There is no way to sort your digital coupons. (I LOVED that feature in the old app!) When I'm in the store and need to look something up quickly, I NEED to be able to sort my digital coupons quickly and in an order that I need. (Alphabetical, by category, etc). Many times digital coupons are in categories that make no sense. (A dairy coupon in the "General" category, etc) so being able to look them up purely alphabetically was a great help.
The jumping back to the beginning of the list every time is extremely annoying. It is so time consuming.
I thought new apps were supposed to be better than the old one? The old one wasn't great, but at least it made a lot more sense and was MUCH easier to use.
Whoever developed this obviously has no idea how couponers like to organize our stuff. The designer's time would be better spent working on the old app to improve functionality and speed. The only thing about the new app I like is the ability to see your PP card info more easily and the addition of the scanner. The scanner will be very useful in the store so I don't have to run around trying to find a store scanner that actually works.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE listen to the 95% of your users who already DESPISE this new app. It's all over the message boards with almost all negative comments. Only a few people I've seen have anything remotely good to say about it.
Bug Fixes have made the app WORSE
How is it possible that with each update this app gets worse? The last few weeks I’ve dealt with constant “error” notifications when adding or trying to remove things from my cart, wrong items magically adding themselves to my cart when I add something totally different (which doesn’t get there), most of the time it’s been easier to just search for something I need since there’s no categories to separate things (for example in the Beverages category there used to be further separation by coffee, juice, soda, water, etc - now it’s all lumped into beverages so scrolling for Cherry Coke Zero 12 packs (example) takes forever. I managed to make it work up until the update that came out today. I done the update this morning, a few minutes ago I logged into the app to add a 6pack of water to my cart, after I finally found the water I wanted I clicked on it to add to cart, wouldn’t let me do it. A check mark would appear but nothing was added to my cart, I tried completely closed out the app, reopened and tried again, still couldn’t add it, so before deciding the app is screwed up again I tried to add several other different types of items - and nope couldn’t do it. The desktop website isn’t much better, at this point it may just be easier to make a list and call in my order or make time to go into the store and deal with all the annoying customers.
