App says its updating constantly. After a day of updating & it never actually does I click on a story & it crashes. The only way to get the update is to delete & reinstall but still crashes. Junk app. Don't waste your time unless they fix. One star is even too good for this app.

Update 1/4/19- WTH is this app randomly playing music. I have not clicked on a video or article that has a video it just starts playing some instrumental music no video It’s not my phone because I have no music on my phone & if I did it wouldn’t be the song this app is playing & it doesn’t happen with any other app

This method provides us with certain diagnostic information (app version, device, connection info) that will help us identify and hopefully fix the underlying issue causing the crash.
Great App, but a new bug!
Great app for a great NYC paper that hasn’t forgotten about journalistic standards and tradition, as well as the exuberance of good writing and good reporting. However, in the past 10 days or so, about half the time I open the app and start reading an article, it triggers my iPhone 8 to shut down! Often two or three times in a row. Other times not, so please fix this inconsistent bug!

Users with similar complaints report that deleting and reinstalling the app often resolves the issue. If you continue to experience problems, please contact us directly by tapping on Email Support in the Settings menu within the app. This method provides us with basic diagnostic information which will help us troubleshoot and fix issues much faster.
Great layout, easy to navigate... But that doesn’t outweigh the significant drain this app places on my battery in comparison to other news apps. I can use my phone for 10-15 minutes and it only drops about 1% when using other apps. When I use the NY Post app for about 1 minute the battery charge will drop 5-10%. It’s insane and I’m not even exaggerating! Wasn’t always like this though. Must be some glitch in an update. Hope they fix because this app is unusable as is. Using it for 10 minutes will drain more than half of the battery life.
