What's New in Version 1.6.6
Minor updates and enhancements.
The New York Post is cancer
I haven't even opened this app and I'm not going to. I only downloaded it so I could give it the lowest rating I possibly could. The New York Post is just another horrible quasi-news gawker clone that feeds off of ruining people's lives for publicity and views. Websites like this one and gizmodo are as cancerous as it gets, and should be ashamed of themselves for producing such horrible content. I'm saying all of this in light of The New York Post's recent attack on Ken Bone. They ruined this genuinely kind hearted mans life by sifting through his Reddit posts and making him look like some kind of monster, which he isn't. So I say in the most genuine, un-ironic way
possible; I hope you go bankrupt. #BoneZone
Best News App I've downloaded
Regardless of your thoughts on the news provided by the app, it's actually built really well. I have very poor internet in my office. Before going in, I refresh it and load about 20 articles for reading later when I need a short break. Neither FOX nor CNN allow that. Highly recommend it to people who want to read the news on their commute, but get poor internet reception
Updated review. At least you can click an X to close the ads, last version left the X out. But, the ads are terrible, they pop up much to frequently and are beyond annoying. Put a banner on the bottom of each article or something and that is it. To have a splash as every 3 articles is ridiculous.
