The app utilizes bank-level security. The app also features a unique 4-digit passcode setting that prevents unauthorized access. allows thumbprint authorizations if your device supports thumbprints.
To use the Newtown Savings Bank Mobile App, you must be enrolled as a Newtown Savings Bank Internet Banking user. If you currently use our Internet Banking, simply download the app, launch it, and login with the same Internet Banking credentials. After you successfully login to the app, your accounts and transactions will begin updating.

New app is good
The new app is pretty good. It will take awhile to get used to. Not as simple as the old one. Although you are able to do more things and see more things on this new app it's a bit confusing. The one think I don't like is that when looking at all your accounts it shows the 'available' balance instead of the 'current balance'. This is a bit deceiving because the 'available' balance is showing the extra $500 overdraft coverage but if you use that then you get hit with an overdraft fee of $39! So why not just show the 'current' balance instead??! I hope they fix this. I do like that it has the fingerprint log in which makes it quite convenient. Mobile bill pay is a nice feature too.
Fully Updated & Fast
This is a massive improvement over the previous app. Design & functionality are easy to use, full-featured, and fully updated.
-Security is updated and includes TouchID.
-Dashboard (homescreen) is customizable.
-Most of all... It's Fast. Most things load instantly. (And unlike the old app, when it does need a moment to load, you get a tiny loading icon in the middle of the screen.)
