UPDATE: App appears abandoned by developer

The app used to be updated frequently but it's been almost a year since the last update and the developer appears to have moved on to their other app Sworkit. There used to be a lot of users and activity but it has slowed considerably. The plus is that it's free but for workout or activity tracking and/or competition there are many apps that are much better and sync with HealthKit. (This app syncs with Runkeeper only)

Very well done app with lots of features. I highly recommend getting friends (you can find them in app, very supportive community.). Beginners can compete against athletes. While you can earn "rewards" in a few different ways, I don't think that's the best part of this app (maybe for some - note mPoints, one of the reward companies, is not the same as the developer NeXercise. mPoints has some ... customer service issues. ) For most people having fun or getting excited about exercising is a much better reward! Great for all levels of ability, especially for those days you can't get going!


So I was looking for a cool fitness tracker but most only track walking and running. But this one is completely different. Not only does it have practically every sport and activity, but it tracks the movement and time when you're doing the activity. When you finish you can see how many calories you earned. Also when you complete certain achievements, it gives you "mpoints" which you can use to enter sweepstakes, earn rewards, and donate to charities. You can track your weight, and see how much you've lost and what activities you've been doing for the past week/month on a calendars also when you're running or walking it gives you a map. Overall, I am in love with this app, and it encourages people to exercise. Love love love this app. (You can do everything with the free version, that I know of)

Good Ideas

This app has a lot of things listed for exercise, giving a lot of flexibility in tracking. I like that you can enter past exercise if you forgot to track at the time. Also, being able to keep saved activities on the phone and upload when you are on wifi later is really helpful. The GPS doesn't report to the user location or map which is important for obeying the law where I live. Maybe it's my phone, but without the GPS on, it doesn't seem to track steps very well. It would be nice to interweave different activities in the same workout.
