Nice news summaries
A nice daily summary of the news and world events. The app itself still needs quite a few tweaks. Suggestions: when more than a weekday goes by without an update, change "current edition" to maybe the day of the week, or when there is an extended break, the complete date. Bug: the articles for January 5, 2015 all are numbered "15" instead of 1 through 10. Could the articles be a bit wider on an iPad in landscape mode? There is too much white space on the sides. On the iPhone the articles look great. The new black and white icon is horrible; it looks more appropriate for a game than a daily news summary app.
By far the best way to get the news on your mobile device
Without question, NextDraft is the best way to get a detailed and terrifically funny and insightful summary of the day's news. Not only are the stories incredibly interesting, but they are made much, much better by Dave’s insights. Dave's commentary continues to be spectacular, but now the articles are much more easy to read. NextDraft is amazing on all formats.
Go ahead and download this app. You will love it. I'm so confident that if you don't, I'll personally refund the cost of the app.
But there's a problem!
I updated to the most recent version, on iPad ios 8.0.2. Opened the app, wait 3-5 seconds, then crash. Rebooted the iPad, opened the app, wait 3-5 seconds, then crashed again.. It's a good thing you're on hiatus. Otherwise l'd have given you a 4 star rating.
Update ; January 4, 2015 crash problem solved within 24 hours ! Now that's what I call customer (aka free loader) service ! Would would it be over the top if I asked you to program my TV remote control?
