NextSong is a Bluetooth controlled Music Player. Use this with a foot controller like the Airturn BT-105 or any compatible Bluetooth foot switch. NextSong is simple and easy to use on stage. Use it to play backing tracks that are in your iPod, iPhone or even iPad. Now a tap of the foot can control playback and song selection! Now supports iRig Blueboard!

Note: NextSong controls the built in music player. To control repeating of tracks, simply adjust the repeat track setting in the music player. In other words, turn it off if you don't want it to repeat in the music app.

NextSong is excellent for sessions in which my students practice accessing the iPad with a bluetooth switch. No other app offered me easy playlist creation and reliable switch response. In addition, the developer was very responsive when it came to adding the one mod that I needed for a perfect fit, namely the shuffle/randomization feature.

Great so far!

I just used Nextsong today for the first time and it worked great. We have a touring theatre for young audiences and need the ability to start some tracks onstage, and others backstage. With an Ipad, Airturn, Nextsong combo I get that ability. Other apps I tried would have tracks mysteriously be unavailable for no apparent reason, which is incredibly troubling in a live show. Thanks for the solid app.

Too Many Bugs

I've been using Next Song with a Bluetooth foot switch for over a year now, and they always seem to be slow when it comes to updating and fixing bugs. The latest one that has been in the app for over a month now will automatically repeat your tracks as soon as they finish. As you could imagine, this isn't good when doing songs live. So I'm giving a 1-star, and will update my rating when they update their app.
