A slow buildup to a thrilling cliff hanger
This game is a real winner, with a great lead character, disturbing plot, and excellent graphics. Because the game is setting the stage for a four-part series, it may seem slow -- but the fierce Father Nicolas always keeps things interesting. Initially, many of the tasks are mundane. But as the story unfolds, new challenges appear -- some of them quite challenging. The plot starts slowly, but eventually, more evil appears -- up to the point of sheer, gruesome terror. The cliff hanger left me eager for the next chapter. If you're up for a slow boil, this game is perfect. Your patience will be rewarded.
