With music alarms, a built-in sleep timer, weather info, customizable photo backgrounds, and even an included shake-on / shake-off flashlight, Nightstand Central turns your device into the ultimate bedside hub.
Wake up to your favorite tunes and drift into sleep a little easier with the included sleep timer. You can play everything from music playlists to relaxing sounds. If you need to get up in the middle of the night, just shake to toggle the included flashlight, and shake again to turn it off. And when you wake up, see the current weather conditions before you even get out of bed.
Nightstand Central is equally at home away from the bedside, as well. Stand your device on a desk or coffee table and use it as a beautiful photo frame with heads-up time and weather information.
Almost everything about Nightstand Central can be tweaked to fit your personality, for example:
-Pick wallpapers from your Photo Album and Nightstand Central will automatically cycle the background image among these how ever often you'd like. You can mix and match your own photos and any of the gorgeous included wallpapers, as well.
-Set up different music alarm playlists for different days. You can even make your alarm gently fade in - it's all up to you.
-Configure the clock / weather HUD to make it bigger, smaller, centered, or move it off to one side or the other
So throw away your boring, standalone alarm clock, and replace it with something that truly stands out - Nightstand Central.

What's New in Version 4.0.1
Needs bug fixes
This app has potential, but the recent bug fixes have made it worse, not better. When the alarm goes off, a screen would pop up to turn it off, or to snooze. That screen is not popping up now. The alarm just keeps ringing. When I fumble to the place where I can turn the alarm off, it already says that the alarm is off, yet it is ringing in my hands. To shut it off, I have to exit out of Nightstand. This app does not function if you dare to look at something else on your phone. This is another beef I have, but at least it will shut off the alarm. The problem is that you don't have the snooze option anymore.
Finally, when the app whisperers get the alarm functioning again, it would be nice if the sound screen (lullaby) would function in between the snooze.
Please and thank you.
Last update less than satisfactory
Overall a good app, but I'm another one who's unhappy with some of the changes in the last update.
- The alarm sound "synth" no longer exists; it stayed happily selected for alarms, but made no sound when the alarm went off (which made sense, in a way, but didn't work well to wake me up!)
- dimming the display (finger drag) no longer sets new level as default the next time app is opened.
- something / some other-app interaction will disable sound completely for iPad until it is "rebooted". (problem existed prior to update).
Before the recent update I was able to tap the bottom of the clock screen and the lullaby screen shows up. Then, I hit start and it goes straight back to the clock screen with the lullaby time running at the bottom. Now, I have to click the info button at the bottom-right corner of the screen then manually hit lullaby. Once I click start, it stays on the lullaby screen with the timer running. With the recent update, it's so hard to start the lullaby that it's driving me crazy! What happened? I'm sticking with the old version for now until this gets fixed.
