This app includes Nike stickers you can use in the app and on iMessage to share with friends. You can find the iMessage stickers in the iMessage app store by searching for NRC. By downloading the app, you agree that Nike provides these stickers for you to use only for that purpose. Nike may revoke this permission at any time.
Nike+ Run Club integrates with the Apple Health app to sync your workouts and record heart-rate data.
Please note that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

You destroyed an awesome running app!!!
Update: Nike is winning a war of attrition by hoping all the old faithful users will give up and forget how awesome and simplistic it used to be. Nike is envious of social media apps. It's overcrowded with too much fluff. At least bring back achievements and access of friends stats! :(
Update: After thousands of negative reviews stating the old design was far superior, Nike refuses to listen by making small updates!!!
Nike is ruining a good running app by forcing it into another form of social media. They've scrapped what made it the best running app, and made hashtags the focal point! The new design should make the app easier to use not harder and more complicated. I've lost about 10 miles of history on multiple months. They scrapped the achievements that made self competition interesting! The friends section was downgraded. I can't access their stats and info as before. Connecting with friends is more difficult now. Instead of competition between my friends, but forced to join hashtags with people I don't know. I will probably go back to the Strava app. I will be changing apps until Nike gets its act together!!!
Almost a Five Star Rating
I wanted to give the app a five star rating because I think it's awesome however there are a few things that I would like to see with the next update. I have the Nike watch, Apple Watch and and iPhone but I've also owned a Fitbit. The one thing about the Fitbit that I enjoyed was being able to invite my friends to challenges and receiving the awards. This in my opinion is a great motivator. Also, I don't want to always have to carry my phone with me especially when I'm running/walking in my neighborhood. Other than those things I love the app but like one of the other reviews said bring back the mileage trophies! These were awesome and I could see my progress and shoot for my next goal.
How Can a Nike App and Nike Watch be so incompatible?
I bought an Apple Watch Nike and I'm using the Nike+ Run Club app and yet I had nothing but issues syncing the watch in the app. How is that possible? I want to leave my phone behind but every time I do the watch app screws it up and runs don't save. I'm baffled at how a Nike app and a Nike watch can function so poorly together
***UPDATE- I continue to be amazed at how terrible the sync and connection functionality is between the "Nike" Apple Watch and the "Nike" run club app. It's almost laughable. How is it possible that two things that say Nike in their title could be so bad at working together. I had such hope for the Nike Apple Watch and the Nike run club but I'm beginning to think they just are bad.
