The Nike+ Run Club app works with Apple Watch, putting all the fun of your run on your wrist. To learn more, go to the Apple Watch tab in Settings.
Nike+ Run Club integrates with the Health app to sync your workouts and record heart rate data.
Please note that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
This app includes Nike stickers you can use in the app and on iMessage to share with friends. By downloading the app, you agree that Nike provides these stickers for you to use only for that purpose. Nike may revoke this permission at any time.

Some fixes have appeared but new bugs have appeared!
My last review from 1 month ago is below for reference. App freezing has been mostly fixed as has starting a run in the background, but now voice feedback doesn't "quiet" your music, run controls tied to music work only intermittently, and manual run controls (start/stop) either don't work while the app freezes again(!) or are delayed by several seconds, leading to multiple button pushes each with lag which completely interrupts a run. The cosmetic issues mentioned below are of course all still present. This latest version is a continued failure for Nike and a major let-down for the community.
Prev Review (7-Sep-16): In moving from the Nike+ app to this new incarnation some of the small but great user interface features have been lost, like seeing your personal Nike Fuel score and seeing your total mileage increase in an animated style after completing a run. Some run options (e.g. beach terrain) have disappeared too. It seems to be harder to find Friend stats and see how you're comparing every day/week/month with your Nike+ friends. The app is still a little buggy insofar as voice feedback is not always kicking-in, and a few app crashes, although I'm sure that'll be fixed soon. So overall it's more of a Nike store front than a running app now. It still does the job, just not as well, and pushes me closer to using Strava instead.
Terrible update getting better
Update on 5.04
Getting better with some bug fixes. Need to keep them coming though.....
Please - for someone like me who commutes to work 2hrs a day and does most of their exercise on weekends plus a less busy work day: please can I allocate an extra run to a future week's training schedule if I know in advance I can't make it then.....right now I can't so I have heavy weeks alternating with pathetically poor weeks where I have "missed" a workout and I guess the "adaptive" algorithms can't work out what I'm doing from one week to the next.....Nothing seems to be adapting....
I wasn't keen on being forced to have training workouts in a running schedule but thought I'd give it a chance. I'm not fond of it but to cap it all the option to edit a schedule has simply disappeared and the NRC app won't recognise NTC workouts unless I have done them on specifically the day. What a waste of time! I will go back to quickstarts, stick to my running and look for another app at this rate. Can't even tell if the schedule is adapting to me as I can't track it properly. Truly buggy and awful. Bring back the old version or please fix this terrible mess!
Not mad, just disappointed
I was really excited to try this app out especially since it works with the watch. I don't like having to run with a phone and since I have the Apple Watch I was really excited to be able to use it. However, I'm disappointed that you can't get you coach program on the watch. All I have the ability to do is to start a basic run. But here is the fun part, I wasn't able to stop the run. There really should be something that you can press to stop it. I had to use Siri to do which is fine in most cases but it can be annoying if you are somewhere busy or if you have a loud household.
I would really like a better way to use the app with the watch. I was a big user of Nike+ running when it wasn't even an app for a phone and you had it on the computer. It would be awesome if some of those features (like the avatar and other competitions with friends) were integrated into this app. Most people that use this I would think are fairly competitive even with themselves so having those extra pushes can be helpful when you are having a stressful day and are debating skipping the run and having A beer instead.
