The Nike+ Run Club app works with Apple Watch, putting all the fun of your run on your wrist. To learn more, go to the Apple Watch tab in Settings.
Nike+ Run Club integrates with the Health app to sync your workouts and record heart rate data.
Please note that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
This app includes Nike stickers you can use in the app and on iMessage to share with friends. By downloading the app, you agree that Nike provides these stickers for you to use only for that purpose. Nike may revoke this permission at any time.

I definitely wish that this app came out separately from the original Running app and that it wasn't such a drastic change from the first one. That being said, I do appreciate tech-support trying to help me with the glitches. However, I am still unsuccessful with the app logging in my long runs with the training program. Even with tech-support, the long run did not sync up with the log on my weekly schedule. Also, I recently did a pace goal run and as soon as I reach the pace, it kept telling me I already reached my goal, even if I had just started running. Please fix this quickly because there are a lot of runners out there that are currently training. Still, I am enjoying the training program despite the major glitches.
Some success working with tech-support. I was not able to recover my lost workouts for the first four weeks (one workout per week lost). However, from the fifth week onward, it has been able to log all my workouts. I have also been able to edit a workout if I am worried that it was not synced. I am also able to edit the schedule for the current week. I would like to suggest that they do not alter the workout plan, the morning of a workout, i.e. right before I am about to do a planned training. I am having fun following the coaching program. However, because I am training for a full marathon, and it is so different from other plans I have used, and it seems experimental, I am a little worried and feel I am taking a risk.
Although they keep saying they're listening, the app is still largely the same since the first major update to this NRC. I echo everyone who says please go back to the way it was. I'm ok with updating the look of an app, but you took away the basic things runners want. I would like to be able to post an actual map, not a weird scribble with a black background. I would also like the option to post only the run details (like "I ran 3.14 miles with Nike") without a map or a pic. I don't want to post a sweaty pic of myself every run. I want challenges with my friends back, not a hashtag with the world. I miss the weekly and monthly trophies, and other fun badges we got for running on particular holidays. I don't want another freaking feed where I have to like everyone's run. I have facebook for that. I understand adding stuff to an updated app, but I don't understand taking away the basic stuff we used every run. I have always been a faithful Nike app user, so much so that even after switching to a Garmin watch for running, I continue to sync runs to Nike for my running log and social media. I have logged almost 6k miles. Now I'm seriously considering switching because I'm tired of clogging up my FB page and Twitter feed with giant black squares with weird green scribbles. **Also, I keep having to go back and re-save my shoes in my past activities. So my shoe mileage is all wrong. And there are shoes there I retired ages ago. Very annoying.
Some fixes have appeared but new bugs have appeared!
My last review from 1 month ago is below for reference. App freezing has been mostly fixed as has starting a run in the background, but now voice feedback doesn't "quiet" your music, run controls tied to music work only intermittently, and manual run controls (start/stop) either don't work while the app freezes again(!) or are delayed by several seconds, leading to multiple button pushes each with lag which completely interrupts a run. The cosmetic issues mentioned below are of course all still present. This latest version is a continued failure for Nike and a major let-down for the community.
Prev Review (7-Sep-16): In moving from the Nike+ app to this new incarnation some of the small but great user interface features have been lost, like seeing your personal Nike Fuel score and seeing your total mileage increase in an animated style after completing a run. Some run options (e.g. beach terrain) have disappeared too. It seems to be harder to find Friend stats and see how you're comparing every day/week/month with your Nike+ friends. The app is still a little buggy insofar as voice feedback is not always kicking-in, and a few app crashes, although I'm sure that'll be fixed soon. So overall it's more of a Nike store front than a running app now. It still does the job, just not as well, and pushes me closer to using Strava instead.
