This app includes Nike stickers you can use in the app and on iMessage to share with friends. You can find the iMessage stickers in the iMessage app store by searching for NRC. By downloading the app, you agree that Nike provides these stickers for you to use only for that purpose. Nike may revoke this permission at any time.
Nike+ Run Club integrates with the Apple Health app to sync your workouts and record heart-rate data.
Please note that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Updated review for 5.2.0
I've used this app a lot. I have over 1400 miles on it so far. I used to love this app. It's simplicity and ease of use. It was intuitive. And bug-free. So why did they change it? Version 5.2.0 is a disaster. I have an iPhone 6 and the app crashes mid run and actually causes my phone to completely boot down. I have to stop mid run, wait for my phone to boot up. Another issue is if you pull your phone out during a run to switch songs on another app like pandora or podcasts, the NRC app will pause your workout and then resume it approx 5 seconds later. Also, the new interface has made the app more complicated. Despite having so many miles logged, I'm actually considering switching to a new app because the bugs are ruining the experience. If you're looking for a running app to start logging runs, I'd recommend using another app. Only reason I'm still using this app is because I have a lot of data logged.
Update: still using the app because i have so much data on it. Bugs still aren't fixed. Midway through my run I'll realize the run countdown gets stuck at 1 and hasn't tracked any progress. Plus using this app with the iwatch somehow makes it worse. Nike has proven over and over again that everything they make apart from shoes and apparel is absolute garbage. Nikes average star rating is much lower than all the other running apps.
Motivating, but needs work
First of all, I mainly use this because I bought the Nike+ Apple Watch (series 2). I will say between the watch and this app with the "My Plan" section, it has helped me go from no exercise to regular exercise for 6 weeks straight. Now for the disappointing. The watch app is really bad at indoor tracking. I have calibrated it outside over many runs, but due to shin splints and weather have moved indoors to run instead. Some days it's right on with the machine, other days it can be up to .6 miles behind the machine in just 3 miles. Same machine, same everything, yet the app does not track well at all. I will have the treadmill on the same speed, my arms swinging normally, yet the pace will dip all the way down to 15'xx" multiple times in a single run... seems like the devs could do a better job of indoor tracking. Hard to track progression of pace when the app is hit or miss. Also, if I were Nike, I'd demand a little more system integration if Apple is getting the bonus of the Nike stamp on their products. Seems like the Apple Activity app does well with the indoor tracking.
watchOS crashed 4k into the 5k Just Do It Sundays challenge
Update: it also takes 3 crashes before support will escalate anything. I don't see how they can just ask for a crash report and send to the engineers. They wouldn't want to move forward until I could reproduce the crash THREE times. Not cool.
I decided to do the Just Do It Sundays challenged today and run the 5k. Even though I ran the entire 5k without stopping (pretty proud of myself), the Apple Watch app crashed about 4k into my run. I was disappointed because the app reloaded and it wanted me to start the challenge again. Also, the watch thought I was still in run mode because the green lights on the back were still on and I couldnt actually start the challenge. I had to re-start the app. Anyway, none of my progress was saved. Although I know in my head that I did a 5k, my progress wasnt saved into my Nike account. I'll have to pass on this app and just use Apple's Workout app again. I'm a disappointed. There's no point in me using this app again knowing what could happen and what's the point of even tracking my runs if it could crash and not save anything. I might as well not use the app!
