Run, swim and fly through glistening waterfalls and rivers, overgrown forests, sky-high mountains and ancient dungeons. Shape change into powerful dragons, soaring eagles, quick-footed deer and more.

Ready for adventure? The Ballad of BrightRidge and Love & Tin are two magical adventures in Story Mode. Or choose Explore mode and experience BrightRidge without quests or enemies. Can you find the ancient whale that swims the oceans? Or the hidden ruins that dot the land?

Unlock the power to change into several species and explore BrightRidge from a new perspective. Soar through the sky as a golden eagle or a winged dragon. Run through the forests and a wily fox or dashing deer. Barge through the land as a towering Tree Ent and flutter peacefully among the flowers as a delicate butterfly (a fan favourite!).

Become a nature photographer and take and save beautiful pictures of this gorgeous and vast landscape. Will you photograph an elusive deer drinking by the river? Or perhaps capture a golden sunset amid ancient ruins? Need help hunting the animals down? Use your Spirit View to magically track animals, each with their own habitat and behavior.

Extensive options let you customize almost anything at anytime. Change time of day, turn on Watercolor mode and experience a living painting, add effects and filters and more. On newer devices you can turn up the detail for an even more beautiful and immersive experience.

Legend Spots dot the land waiting to be discovered. Each one tells a bit about the people, places and history of BrightRidge. Or visit the cozy halls of BrightRidge Inn, sit by the fireplace, dance with the guests, or listen to their stories.

It’s all here. Rainstorms, lightning and thunder, light breezes and gusting wind, and quiet snowfalls. Or use the options to change the weather on the fly.

There’s no rush. Feeling panic, anxiety or stress? Choose Explore Mode, breathe, and explore the wild rivers, valleys and waterfalls of BrightRidge at your own pace.

Best game I've ever played

I've had BrightRidge HD for a long time now, and I can find absolutely nothing to complain about. This is the only game I've found that really feels like being in a place, and on a mobile device, too.
I'm eagerly awaiting Vandgels and the new areas. This game has so much potential for stories and places.
As for suggestions, all the plant life in the game has names, but they're never shown anywhere- which made me imagine a botany notebook that could be found. Perhaps a small shelf in one of the buildings with a few readable books on wildlife, history, or fiction stories taking place in Nimia?

Developer Response

I love that idea. I started working full time on the games about a month ago and I have plans to get four games out, and I would love to add all the details you’re talking about. It was really great when I saw you added so much to the wiki, I need to set u my nights so that I can start adding more info there too. I’m happy you feel it’s like a real place because in a way I feel like it is a real place somewhere, and I’m just kind of revealing it using my mind to figure it out 😀 thanks for all your support and I am working hard to get vandgels out very soon. If you email me I will add you to the beta list so you can test it too.

Sooo awesome!!

I have followed different versions of Nimian Legends for years, and each new development brought something fascinating and unique. This version is the best one yet. I love games with 3D worlds that the player can explore, but unfortunately there’s not that many on the app store — I was so excited when I first found this game in one of its earlier versions. I am extremely grateful that the developer kept updating this game with new versions. Truly one of my favorite games!

Developer Response

Thank you! I am working on an expansion area for BrightRidge called GreenWeald, and it is a more forested and hilly area. Also i am working hard on the sequel Vandgels - a story of faith set in remote snowy mountains, so i hope you will stay tuned for that too. And thank you for the good rating and the review - its very supportve.

Yes! So much potential....

First let me say this game is beautiful! I’m a fan of “open worlds” but playing on my 6s Plus is somewhat difficult. I wish I had a chance to play before I purchased.

My problem is with the characters guidance circle. I have small fingers and they still get in the way of my line of vision. So I used a stylus and that was better but really the circle thing is terrible. It’s so hard to keep the character moving and keep the circle right over his head.

I played for about 15 min. And was already so frustrated I wanted to cuss. Not frustrated in that good way that makes me want to conquer the circle problem but the other way that wants to throw my phone at the wall.

Until this changes and some other method is available to move the main character, hopefully lower on the screen and not smack in the middle ( where my hand blocks so much). I am not interested in playing it.

Developer Response

Thanks for playing:) And i understand - the controls are a hard thing to get right. You should be able to touch the screen anywhere on the left side to moves and anywhere on the right side to look around (this can also be swapped in the options). You shouldn't have to touch in the centre of the screen so I'm not sure what's going on, but if you can let me know more details it will help. Meanwhile try going to OPTIONS>CONTROLS and there are a lot of settings you can change, and they will save automatically. You could hide the joysticks so you don't see them, or you could also anchor them in place so they don't move. There are a lot of options so maybe you can find a combo that works for you, and let me know if you do so i can get some insight.
