Update this app so it doesn't crash constantly!

I have no issue with paying for the online service. $20 a year is nothing. Everyone in console gaming charges for online service. They argue that it is worth it since they have extra money to put into the service thus earning the money being paid by the consumer. That makes it worth it for me to spend the money. I am paying for the full Nintendo Switch Online package.

I have a serious issue with it if you are not giving me everything that I am paying for. This chat app is part of the package that I am paying for. This app crashes every single time I use it in a Smash Bros. Ultimate fight with my friends. I cannot STAND that I just got Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and am encouraged to use this chat function BUT you have not updated this app in 2 months. Apple has updated my iOS version in the last 2 months. I have the iPhone X iOS version 12.1.1. I am not using super outdated hardware here. You did not prepare for this huge 80 dollar release that I pre-ordered with all of the DLC on the Switch. You ignored this app.

It should have had an update prior to this major launch if you really want to sell the full value of this service. Earn the money. Give everything that you owe us for the money spent. You usually make me feel you earn every penny more or less. I have bought every major Nintendo console release. This includes portables. You are finally letting me think you don't take us and our money seriously. Earn me.

This isn’t very cash money if you

Before you say “well at least they are making it available to everyone for the low price of $20 a year” The DS over 16 years ago had everything this app does built in. So did the 3DS, the Wii U, about 6 years ago now and that was 100% free. And it had a Virtual Console with games people actually wanted. The entirety of Switch online is a joke. Splatoon 2 actually became became harder to play after it Switch online came out. And that’s and $80 game, now $100 because of the $20 online service. If you wanted to get the same experience with Splatoon on the Wii U, it was $60, everything included. Because of Switch online, my Switch has become a Fortnite (btw the switch version is lacking) and Mario Odyssey machine. For $300. Not okay. Maybe Smash bros. might make them notice how bad this is.

Oh, and for people like me with and iPhone 7 or later, you have to use the 3.5mm dongle, plug the adapter that came with on of the 2 supported headphone, plug the other end into your Switch, than ether squat near you dock or use it in handheld mode. For Fortnite on the same console, you plug in any headphones with a mic on it.

𝘈𝘯𝘵𝘪-𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘶𝘮𝘦𝘳 100. Not okay.

Nintendo Switch Online Voice Chat App

I’ve, been using this app since the Online came out. Overall I have to say it’s not as bad as most people make it seem to be, I can understand people wanting to do voice chat through the console itself which is fair enough.

But I’m speaking on my own experience, and no one else’s. I already use Discord on my phone to voice chat, when I’m my PS4 and my Switch so this doesn’t really bother me to use. Also the sound quality and stability is very good I’ve never had the App Crash or lag the biggest amount of people I’ve had in one voice chat room is while I was play Mario Kart and we had 12 people in at once which was pretty hectic so luckily there’s an option to mute others.

The downfall to this app is the fact that not many games support the app, and the fact that this is how Nintendo wants us to communicate with others on the app which is fine I wish they would add a message system to.
