A huge security concern!
When I ran into this application, I got very excited due to the fact that I could, now, purchase my bus ticket(s) on my iPad/iPhone; however, after going through the process of registration, I had to stop at the point in which I registered my e-mail address and a password.
I did this because of two (2) reasons:
#1 — I was being limited to using this account on multiple devices. This, to me, is a no-no because, I always carry my iPad; however, I do some-times forget my iPhone. As well, whatever will happen when I get to upgrade my iPhone?! What if my iPhone is broken and I now only have the iPad? What if my phone was stolen and, for the time being, I have to depend on my iPad until I get a new phone?
#2 — This second reason, to me, is very important, it deals with the fact that the application does not support Apple Pay. I am very uncomfortable having to hand-over my personal account information to anyone else, at this point, after having experience identity fraud, twice, so far. It should be an in-app purchase and take it from there.
NO THANK YOU, I SAY!
Needs better iOS integration
A useful app, but twice I've gotten in trouble with conductors because I couldn't activate tickets that I had previously purchased because my dad phone doesn't get signal in Penn station or the tunnels that make up the first 5 minutes of my commute home. Also, this app needs passbook integration.
What's the point?
Can only be used on a single device. If my phone runs out of juice I can't use my spare phone or tablet. Sorry will be sticking with the paper ticket as it's more convenient at this time. My paper ticket will never run out of power or be unable to get signal and.
