Be someone you're proud of.
This app is meant to help people live happier, healthier, and more content lives through encouragement of personal growth, and service to others.
No emails, passwords, streaks, chains, or bugging you with reminders.
How does it work?
No Zero days is a very simple app. It does almost nothing. You can mark an activity as complete for a day simply by tapping a category box. If you press and hold a box, you can add a note for that category for that day.
Scroll up and down to see the past few weeks, and scroll all the way up to see some basic stats and visualizations of the last 30 days.
Press and hold the logo to access settings.
That’s it - no zero days does nothing else. It is meant to simply join your day to day routine and help you remember to take at least one action each day that helps yourself or others. Easy right?
Easily move your data from one device to another, using the "Sync" feature in settings.
Ratings and Reviews
Fine app for the right person
If you are looking for an in-depth tracker with goals and timelines and alarms, this app isn’t for you. But if you are looking for a simple app to track goal categories in a binary way, this is your app! 4 categories of achievements that you can mark as completed, plus the ability to leave a note for yourself. Simple and easy.
The one thing I would add is the ability to make the 4 categories configurable by the user. While Create, Help, Learn, and Health make sense as default categories, I’d like to be able to change those to meet my own needs.
Thank you so much for the review! Sorry for not making this more clear - but you can press and hold the logo to customize the four categories:)
The app I didn’t know I needed
If you struggle with health issues, mental illness, or low self esteem this is the app for you. It’s not the kind of app that motivates you to do stuff by making you feel bad when you don’t do it. Instead it makes you reflect and realize that your day wasn’t a waste, today had value, and you have done valuable things. All the low reviews I’ve read seem to be people looking for a more typical “don’t break the chain” type app. That’s not what this is, and that’s why I find it so useful.
Thank you for the kind words :) Making sure the app didn’t make people feel badly when they did have a zero day, or generate more stress or anxiety was important - I’m glad that comes across, thank you!
Great motivation that could use improvements
Simple, effective and easy to use. I wish there was a way to save the inspirational quotes that appear when you first open the app each day. They disappear and you can’t access them again. It could also be nice to be able to choose what you want to focus on daily, as opposed to feeling like a failure if you didn’t complete one of the pieces. For example, if your focus is to create everyday, we should be able to select just that rather than having to do all of them.
Thank you so much for the comments! I will work on a way to let you copy the comments to your clipboard so you can paste them in a text, or email, or anywhere else. Re: being able to choose what to focus on - please don't feel that you must complete all four each day. Marking only one gives you a non zero day :) I only have four there because I felt any one of those actions made the day greater than zero. It's either making you better, or helping someone else - both make the world a better place :) I will think of ways to make this more clear in the UI
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
