A Rising Mandarin Star with Potential
This app does well for what it is. In fact, I would consider this to be a combination of many things. It’s a flash-card reader, it’s a dictionary, and it allows you to write the symbols as you go along - unlike other dictionaries. Plus, it’s offline, so there’s another bonus. I would make the bold claim to say I’d recommend this more than the Bravolol dictionaries. But, there’s one issue I have to address. While the iPad is in horizontal mode and I begin to write symbol, the drawing area gets way too big and fills the screen. At that point, unless some miracle happens, I wouldn’t be able to hit the back button, even when I put it back in portrait mode, and I would have to close the app. If you can fix that issue for those who would want to study in horizontal mode, that would be a big help.
Overall, I’d say this app has a lot of potential. Maybe later on in the future, we’d be seeing something cooler coming to this app. I’ve got nothing to say but “谢谢” for this lovely Swiss-army-knife-esque gadget.
~Kind Regards, Okaru45.
P.S: I think the idea of having your own custom list is nice. I tested this feature out, and the good new is that it doesn’t take up a lot of space: about 200 KB or less for 27 words. So, for those who are worried space-wise, like me, this would be no issue.
Got me an A in Chinese class
I’m a university student new to Chinese, and it’s a really helpful supplement to my class since you get to make custom lists and you have to practice and re-practice regularly. I highly recommend it to other students, I got an A in my class and I don’t think I could have done it without this app. Thank you so much!
Bug on ios 12 devices
I’ve already updated ios 12 for my idevice. I used noodle and found a bug when you review a content like hsk I or some content like this when you write words have more than 2 letters you have to write backward letter exactly the forward letter. Please fix this bug soon. Your app very useful for me.
