If you are looking for an Accurate Weather Forecast you should download Nooly (it’s FREE). Because Nooly was developed by top American and European weather scientists, it involves new and experimental technologies. Developed by the Nooly team, some of these predictions were available until now only to the FAA, NASA and other Federal agencies. Using Nooly, you can have access to these predictions as well.
Nooly is the world First and only App that predicts the Exact Time Rain will Start and end (5 Minute Accuracy) for every neighborhood / park / road or district in the Continental US. The app aims to predict the weather for every road, park, school, golf course and all places that pique your curiosity. The app and its predictions are updated automatically every 5 minutes making it the most up-to-the-minute weather app in the world.
The application presents the user with Cutting Edge Technology and breakthrough algorithms that represent a scientific breakthrough in the field of cloud physics and meteorology, It is Futuristic and Experimental at the same time. It took us few years of hard scientific and algorithmic work to develop this wander. Now, after long testing periods, we find Nooly to be highly accurate and extremely reliable. But you be the judge and allow us via your extremely valuable feedback in the name of science, to contribute to our effort of developing even more accurate weather prediction algorithms that will, among other benefits, accurately predict extreme weather conditions such as hail, hurricanes and tornadoes.
Please note, the app is currently predicting the weather for the continental US and South Canada, only. It is available worldwide for your convenience but will work only in predicting US and Canadian weather.
When using the app remember; it is a work in progress and you are one of the first in the world to experience such accurate forecast. What's New in Version 1.4.1
It's A Beta People!
I read the info before I downloaded the app and it clearly stated it's a beta-test product. My favorite part is watching the precipitation graph contort itself over a matter of minutes. The idea is very good. Once a few more bugs are worked out it will be better but even though I've had to delete and redownload the app at least twice I'm entertained by the possibilities the app has in the future.
iPad users, steer clear of landscape mode on the precip graph or you'll be reinstalling,...again but this app is fun for weather bugs and opportunities to beta test apps like this are why I like Popular Science so much. For detractors, I simply ask,...Wait and download Nooly again about the Holidays. It's only going to get better. Thanks!
Been using now for a couple of weeks and have its information handy & accurate. It gives me lots of ways to view what's going on around me which I like. I can view a map, see a list for every 5 or 15 minutes or by the hour. There's even a handy graph that shows how intense a storm is going to be and when the intensity will peak.
The only feature I miss is a moving radar map. Maybe one will get added but overall I found Nooly a great and essential addition to my weather apps. I'd recommend getting it and spending some time exploring its features. I open it every day at least once and usually more.
Great potential, but buggy
When it works, I love it. Nooly was recommended in Popular Science magazine, so I gave it a try. There are some issues that need to be addressed before I would give it a higher rating. Sometimes it doesn't recognize a change in location. For instance, last weekend I left NYC to visit PA. Nooly thought I was still in NYC. Lately when I go to the hourly forecast view, all the percentages for potential precipitation are blank. When I try to contact the developer within the app to give feedback it consistently fails to send and the screen jumped around as I typed. However, on those days it is working properly, it is a great way to know when I need to bring an umbrella.
