Super awesome
I kinda accidentally bought this app! But i'm so happy about this accident. It's so awesome. Before it i used the penultimate and thought it was the best. Because it synced with evernote and had palm rejection and i thought no app could do palm rejection without a bluetooth activated stylus... Even though it had lots of flaws with the palm rejection, i thought it's the best you could get with a normal stylus... Little did i know this app does it sooooo much better, even flawlessly. The only advantage penultimate has is the evernote sync option. But here there might even be something better, you can export your notes into pdf and organize it as a pdf which might be even better than evernote sync.
Anyway there's one very small issue i wanted to point out. The zoom writing is great but i wanted it to get the margin of the lines a little more intuitively because when i change the zoom place in between the lines, when i tap the enter button i want it to have a fixed amount of... Going down! This amount resets on its own. I don't know if i got the message i wanted across but it's the best i could do... I'm not a native english speaker.
Also please add right to left zoom writing support... I don't think it will be that difficult to implement.
This has changed my education entirely!
I had a friend introduce me to this app about 6 or 7 months ago. I'm a senior in college trying to get into grad school and I can honestly say that this app has changed the way I take notes. Before I started using this, my notes were very disorganized and I would sometimes run out of room in my notebooks and have to use my other notebooks for different subjects to take notes (we know that never works out). Ultimately i was finding that my learning was hindered because I found myself looking through tons of different books for notes. Now my notes are all organized and I never run out of room in a book! I am able to organize my notes so that I have a new note for each lecture, and each new lecture goes right into its assigned subject. I love that it can connect with my google drive and I can load powerpoints from class onto it and take direct notes on those powerpoints or other electronic documents. Not only that, I also have saved so much money not having to buy new notebooks each semester. For $6 this app is easily worth it.
Top-notch
I'm an 8th grade math teacher and my school switched to iPads about 2 years ago. At first I didn't provide notes for my students, but then I started putting more and more items on an app the school purchased to distribute materials electronically. The app we use tends to "lose" work that my students have done and I've gotten to the point that I require them to convert materials into Notability. It is so wonderful! It saves automatically so NO work goes missing and it makes handwriting look better and more legible. All the tools it has is wonderful for highlighting answers to copy and pasting them somewhere else in case they were written in the wrong spot. You can even enlarge writing and shrink it to fit the size space that is available. The only thing I wish that Notability had is a straight line tool. eBackpack has a straight line tool that makes connecting dots and graphing lines so much easier. I'm not sure how many others would use this tool, but as a math teacher I know it could be used for schools! Overall and A+ on the design of the app!
