It is sophisticated, in an unassuming way, so that you find yourself greatly rewarded and being productive without sacrificing time/effort to the App. I cannot tell you how much productivity I have gained. I am having a huge amount of fun, I use it constantly, more than the phone on my iPhone in fact."

This app, with it's flexible formatting, constant improvements and updates, and rock solid operation is the centerpiece of my iOS usage. The internal logic of the file system allows me to use Notebooks in a variety of ways which supersede many of the other apps I used previously. It simplifies, to have all my info in one searchable app, and the search function is excellent. Another feature worth noting is the option to customize the keyboard and add keys to the main keyboard screen which makes entry much faster. Finally, the support Alfons provides is first rate. Highly recommended!

The most amazing notebook app ever with ONE BIG FLAW

Saber Altria

This notebook app has nearly everything but contains a huge flaw that most other notebook apps have - an undo button. If you accidentally delete something or remove something, there's no way to get it back. This is a must for every writing app or program. I'm confused why this app doesn't have one yet.

Edit: Developer replied and none of what he said worked. I can't find any undo feature on the row keys. I've tried all of them. I don't even know what the key is supposed to look like. I even went to the editor but that didn't help either.

Additionally ios does have a native undo button but it requires shaking your phone. Not sure why that would be a preferable method up undo anything in a typing app.

Also other reviewers have pointed out they don't see "undo" button either. If there is an undo feature perhaps it should put in front by default and given a tutorial on the website of how to access it.

Developer Response

Notebooks *has* undo/redo buttons, accessible from the row for extra buttons above the built in keyboard. You may need to swipe left to reveal them.

(Just as a side note: on iOS devices, no matter which app you use, you can *always* undo your typing or accidental deletions by using the undo functionality built into iOS. iPads even have a dedicated key on the built in keyboard, and on an iPhone you simply use the shake gesture.)
