NouveauPG is the result of almost two years of research, design, and development of a PGP client that was accessible to less technical users that desire strong encryption.
Every inconsequential option has been removed from the user interface and only information that is actually needed to verify the validity of a public key certificate is displayed. NouveauPG automatically uses the best encryption methods for your data and is compatible with all OpenPGP clients.
Using NouveauPG, you can send and receive secure messages to anyone using any program you can copy and paste from. NouveauPG easily integrates with existing e-mail, forum, and social media systems.
PLEASE NOTE: You cannot import private keys from another program and use them to decrypt messages using NouveauPG.
Check out a graphical tutorial at http://nouveaupg.com to see how easy NouveauPG is to use. (You can go through all the features in 15 minutes!)
What's New in Version 1.74
Updated for better forward compatibility with newer versions of macOS.
I’m new to this GPG stuff and was a bit over my head with some of other applications.
This worked perfectly to provide the functionality I needed, while allowing me to get a better understanding of what it was I was actually doing.
Other applications have little (if any) UI, so I took a chance with this and wound up loving it.
If you're interested in keeping some semblince of privacy while communicating online, intimidated by some of the other apps out there, but wanna start getting your feet wet—this was absolutely designed for you.
Good app with Good Support
I’m a PGP newbie but I still found the app fairly easy to use. When I needed support because of my own silly mistake I received a reply within two hours! And this was at 9PM when I emailed support!
best of the PGP tools
NouveauPG is the first PGP tool I have scen which actually is self explanatory and logical to use. Its a great utility choose that helps me any time i need to have private and secure exchanges.
