Update: Still buggy

Update to the update: Because this skipping-back issue is still happening, I'm dropping a star off my second review. From others' reviews, I'm not the only person experiencing this issue. PLEASE fix this. It's incredibly annoying!

Update: The app now starts, at least. It's stopped crashing upon launch, but now I'm experiencing this weirdness where the stream begins to play, then it BACKS UP to a point in the stream that just played a minute or so (I don't know the exact duration). I kept hearing repeated material and I thought I was losing my mind. Sometimes it happens only once, sometimes several times! At least I'm able to listen to something now, but this is still a little bit annoying.

(Earlier review:) That is to say, it won't launch at all. Just crashes. Fortunately, I'm not having the phone-freeze that others seem to be experiencing, but it's still useless. This is a bummer because I'm an NPR junkie and literally have it on all day... at least I did, till now. FYI, I'm running iOS 10 with this latest app version. Please fix this!!

Still experiencing problems

I use this app on a daily basis and listen to several NPR stations but I have one major complaint. Every time Apple updates iOS, the app loses stability and stops working or works intermittently, cutting out frequently. This goes on until NPR finally does the right fix to the app. It is very aggravating. Once again, with iOS10, I have this problem. The app is dropping my station. And, the worst problem of all - on my iPod, my preferred device for using the app, I can't get one station at all. It won't tune in. I have tried taking the app off the device, shutting down all the apps, doing a hard device shutdown, and reinstalling the app after rebooting the device, to no avail. Tried this multiple times even. VERY frustrating. I am a member of three NPR stations but one will probably lose my support if I can't listen to it with this app.

Update: current version released September 26 has repaired the previous crash on startup problem. Thanks for the quick repair. Back to being my favorite!

[Always been one of my favorite apps, but in the September 22 update, it immediately crashes. iOS 10 with iPhone 5c. Hoping for a corrected update soon . . .]
