##About The Park.
Yellowstone National Park was established in 1872 as America's first national park - an idea that spread worldwide. It is a mountain wilderness, home to grizzly bears, wolves, and herds of bison and elk. Old Faithful and the majority of the world's geysers are preserved here.

Download the app before you arrive. Cell service and Wi-Fi are limited in Yellowstone.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Loved it - great tool for my day (+) visit

Do as the site says and download the offline content so you can use the app when no cell co stage is available. Came in extremely handy today!

Suggestions for improvement -
1) have the "auto center"(?) feature track you constantly vs just centering on your location when pressed and not following your location if your driving. Easy enough to manually progress the map or retapping the button, but would add to efficiency and effectiveness.
2) An ability to drop a pin or marker to identify to other app users where something interesting you saw is/was... e.g. Bears are "here" or wolves were "there". Obviously this would need to be corroborated and have an "as of time" for the siting or the pin dropping (if offline) and/or fade away as time expires or whatnot. This could also serve as a pattern analysis function where users - or maybe even rangers - could try to anticipate what the best odds of seeing a particular type of animal was or should be able to be seen.

Amazing App - Golden Treasure

Best App for Yellowstone national park.. with offline data and map it is most convenient and helpful method to navigate in all over the park .. from trails to view points.. with details to routes its all there on app.. We give full credit to this app for our successful and memorable trip to Yellowstone

The Logo

I really like the app. But.. (no pun intended) doesn't the bison on the icon look a little like he has a flatulence issue? Just sayin'.
