NTIDragonBurn enables Mac users to quickly and easily begin producing audio, data, mixed-mode CDs, and DVDs. NTIDragonBurn's Multi-Burning engine allows users to simultaneously write multiple CDs, and DVDs from single or multiple sorces. It also fully supports the newest internal and external drives.
Using NTIDragonBurn, Mac users can easily produce their own audio and data CDs, and DVDs; mixed-mode and CD extra discs; and VCD and SVCD video discs. Users can mix and match AIFF, CDDA, MP3 or Wave files to produce custom audio CDs. For CD, and DVD data mastering applications, NTIDragonBurn fully supports ISO 9660 MS-DOS and Joliet, HFS (Mac OS) and HFS+ (Mac OS Extended) file systems. For Hybrid CDs and DVDs, users can select Mac OS and ISO 9660 file system combinations including data from previous ISO 9660 sessions.
For complete data protection and recovery, users can burn layouts to a disc or save them as complete disc image files. Using similar creation techniques, users can quickly and easily produce a backup copy of any CD or non-copy protected DVD. To ensure that users always produce quality discs, NTIDragonBurn supports BurnProof and other buffer-underrun protection technologies. For maximum throughput performance, the mastering software also supports USB 2.0 and FireWire CD/DVDburners.
Fixed cannot erase RW disc in 10.10 and later OS and fixed some weblink bugs. Change the number of burning from 10 times to 3 times in the trial. Also updated EULA and updated copyright to 2017.
Ratings and Reviews
cheap application please update to new version and add more option
new look and better working
in this version this app cost 1 $
I expected more for $40
I bought this app with the primary objective to burn audio CDs and to be able to customize the pauses between tracks. Sometimes with no pause (zero seconds) inbetween tracks, others with 1 or 2 in between, etc. This works fine but when selecting zero and if track a and b are meant to flow together seemlessly (gapless playback), upon playback when going from track a to b, a tiny pause occurs -- this is unsatisfactory.
Second and more importanly, after spending quite a bit of time constructing a CD, I saved the project in case I want to burn more later or make changes. The saved files don't open as the application always unexpectedly quits when attempting to open them.
Hopefully an update will address these issues, but I'd expect some simple functionality like this to work from the get-go.
Works as advertised
I was concerned because to software was expensive, however all the alternative software in the Mac App store had mainly very negitive reviews. I didn't want a bloated package like Toast, so I went for it and bought this software. I'm very glad I did. It has an initutive interface and it just works.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
