Do you rely on a piece of scratch paper to remember when & what to do throughout your shift? Stop writing everything down when you can easily program this app at the start of your shift. Take a couple minutes to plugin essential, patient specific reminders or quickly select from dozens of distinct choices within the following drop-down lists:

• Assessments
• Medications

This comprehensive app can act as your brain sheet, sending you alerts throughout the day. “Complete” or “Delay” the alert to revisit it later. Set a task to “Repeat” for duties that recur throughout the day. “Clock-out” at the end of your shift to pause all alerts. “Clock-in” again to retain info and resume tasks for the patients you had during the previous shift. Easily view an organized task list of “Upcoming” duties and then slide them over to the “Completed” list for reporting later. Use the “Notes” section to write important occurrences you wish to handoff to the next nurse. Compile that long list of phone numbers and store all your information in one place:

• Phone, beeper, & room codes (simply tap to call within the app)
• Patient notes for report
• Room Number
• Code Status

Exactly what I needed!

I was hoping that an app like this existed, and it does! It does exactly what I need it to, though I reserved one star for a lack of bells and whistles - literally - like I wish it had more options to change alert sounds and things. The app is an ugly brown color, too, but no biggie. My main complaint is it has glitches out on me a couple of times, but overall, this app is a lifesaver for me (and my patients) at work!! And for anyone worried about HIPPA violations, you aren't really (or shouldn't be) putting anything personal on the app - just setting reminders for yourself.

Very useful

RN Eric

As an RN, it's good to see a developer attempt an app like this. Nurse notes is pretty fast and programmable. It alerts through a locked screen reminding you what needs to be done at work for your pts. You can make alerts repeat. It stores patient allergies, weight, etc. I like the app because I can open it up and see a list of all the stuff I'm supposed to be doing throughout the day. Also, if I can't find an intervention in a drop down list, I can type it in which is sometimes faster anyway. Me likey long time.

As an ICU nurse I was looking for an app to help me during my shift and this is it, I carry my phone all the time and the reminders are life savers. I found it especially useful when I floated and needed a place for door codes and pagers without having to fumble through 4 report sheets trying to find where I wrote it. I don't use it for every task, but I do use it for single tasks a few hours down the road like remembering to check lab results, or checking heparin levels.
Overall definitely worth it.
