Nice to find an app that quantifies the strength of my diet- oddly motivating
I’ve never found time to keep a food diary, but this app serves much the same purpose, and is simple and fast to use. What’s more, it is nice to be able to track and quantify the strength of my diet, rather than just having a vague sense of how well I’m doing. One thing I miss after college is having regular feedback in the form of letter grades. Getting that now with my diet, even from a piece of software, is oddly motivating, and far more valuable than getting that same feedback a few decades from now in a doctor’s office when it’s too late. We should all share the lifelong goal of caring for our minds and bodies (the most valuable worldly possessions any of us will ever have), and this seems a useful tool in that quest.
Self-accountability and positive reinforcement
This app allows one to answer a few quick questions yes or no and calculates a grade based on that day's intake. The quality of diet is the focus without producing anxiety-provoking numbers that make many of us crazy.
Using this app opened my eyes to reality without shaming me into submission. It also inspires me to make better choice in a more natural way.
Worth way more than $.99.
Useful little app
I like this one! It's helped me reframe some of my health assumptions and has encouraged better nutritional habits.
I wish I could specify diet type (vegetarian, gluten free, etc) and answer questions tailored a bit more to my lifestyle, but it works well enough as it is.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
