NV Energy’s mobile app now offers even more tools to help make understanding energy use and saving money at your home or small business easier than ever. New features include an interactive energy usage chart with daily temperature, cost and kWh totals; billing history with access to pdf versions of past bills and greater energy efficiency information.
The app still gives NV Energy customers quick access to MyAccount to view their estimated cost to date, receive their current account summary, sign up for energy alerts, or handle payments directly through their device. The app also makes it easy to get to NV Energy’s Outage Center, which provides details on an outage location, estimated time of restoration and outage cause. Customers can also report an outage through the Outage Center.

SLOW on WIFI / Dislike Login Required
The concept is great, allows me to see daily energy use (some days missing not sure why). The problem is how SLOW the app runs during login (doesn't allow you to store credentials which is lame, or use iPhone fingerprint), clicking on menu items it takes forever to open and refresh requested page. We have no LTE coverage (1x or some 3G in Incline Village), so the App usage, during power outage, is useless since it is so slow even when connected to high-speed Internet. At 1x speed or 3G speeds the speed issue of the app makes it useless (Verizon coverage issue) and power is usually restored before APP reports details about the outage.
We do like the outage information, and can query status if we leave the house during outage and able to connect to LTE (still slow however). So many passwords in life, don't always remember the password, needs Fingerprint or remember credentials as an option.
I really like this App!
I put it on my phone last week and since then the power has gone out 3 times. I just open up the app and it tells me why and how long it will be out. It doesn't get any better than that for me.
Bad bad bad can not log in
I have it set up and it continually asks for the three security questions. Says it cannot save them and input three different security questions. I do that and it asked the same question again I cannot login to the account or use the app it is worthless.
