Best news app ever

The New York Times app, aside from the fact that you have it available 24/7, has so many additional features. The daily update on who's going to win the election and the interactive map whereby you can see which dates will be the most critical for which candidate is amazing. Also they make the most of the visual medium in terms of arrays of photographs for particular stories, which they just can't do in paper form. You also have the ability to save features, and they have a feature called "in case you missed it" which shows articles from the last week or so which of been popular. I have only two gripes : The crossword puzzle is not included and they do not offer the option of getting the Sunday paper as paper, and everything else online.
The most important and will conceived news app. Period.

Fine App from an unparalleled newspaper

TeamW and GaryWeiss both wrote very positive reviews on the previous version that I will subscribe to in doubt that I could do any better.
I have never had any problems with the NYTimes app although I consult it at least half a dozen times a day. However, recently--and I suspect this should be laid at Apple's door in "encouraging" users to move to their latest hardware--the program has crashed a few times.
I am bothered more by the all to frequent (none is the appropriate benchmark) misspellings (e.g., use of there for their) and grammatical errors which I don't find in columnists but do find in news stories, which I would guess are the result of inadequate proofreading.

More than Just An Electronic Version

I have always loved the NYTimes, but could never keep up with it. I would subscribe, and my home would fill with newspapers that I was going to get to eventually. The beauty of the electronic version is that people at the paper seemed to have given a lot of thought to how an online version can bring value, and it delights me! It is such a nice luxury to wake up to my Morning News Brief - a summary of the top stories. I receive emails with news briefs on specific topics. I love that they have expanded into video that explore important topics in more depth. Best of all, there is a book mark in case I want to read something later!
