Object Oriented Programming

By WiBit.Net

This app is only available on the App Store for iOS devices.

If you want to learn computer programming, this is the place to start! Kevin and Bryan teach in a funny and exciting conversational style with visual explanations as they go. On occasion, they may actually tell a bad joke, sing poorly or include a ridiculous pop culture reference! But if that's ok, you will be rewarded with learning some very dry material, in a fun and exciting series of training videos.

WiBit.Net courses are based on a cumulative teaching model, so that our courses are often a continuation of a prerequisite course. Our materials are not intended to teach you how to program in a single language. We attempt to avoid duplication of prior materials, to build your skills from the C Language upwards. With this teaching model, you learn how to do something and why it is done that way! We try to make learning how to program easy and entertaining. We hope you enjoy what we have to offer!

Also, this application does not require an Internet connection, so you can learn at WiBit.Net no matter where you are!

Ok! We have a solid understanding of the basics of programming and we are proficient in C. What is the next step? Well, it’s C++! But wait... Hold on! Before we make that leap, let’s put our learning hats back on and learn the fundamentals of Object Oriented Programming (OOP). The only REAL difference between C and C++ is OOP. Before we even start looking at this concept let’s learn the fundamentals!

This application covers Introduction to Object Oriented Programming and encompasses the following topics:
-Getting Started
-Class Construction
-Inheritance & Friends
-Open Recursion & Namespaces
-Constructors and Destructors
-Designing Classes

Entertaining and informative

I love this whole series. The presenters are hilarious and deliver the information in a clear, concise way.

Also, David Bowie's birth name is David Jones, but he changed it to avoid confusion with the Monkee Davie Jones. Charles Manson auditioned to join the Monkees. There is the link between the two. (The question came up in one of the videos in this app.)

Very informative. The laid back approach is much easier to keep focused on than a classroom. If you want to learn programming concepts without the boring college professor, look no further.

Love it!

This is a great conversational explanation of the concepts of OOP. The tone is very light and jokey and the examples are conceptual rather than getting into a lot of code.
