Utterly Fantasic!! Steer Your Own Coaster!
This game is amazingly creative, easy to pick up and play, & educational! If you ever wanted to steer your own coaster or perform fantastic physical feats then this game is for you! The graphics are crisp and clear, the game runs smooth with no frame drops, & I have encountered zero bugs on my iPhone 5c! There is a large theme park environment to explore, a large amount of coaster vehicles to choose from, and you can save any coaster track you create to ride for later. The gameplay is as simple as tilt to move your coaster and create a track beneath you. But at the same time you follow proper coaster physics (your car has no engine so you can't tilt up indefinitely). You can watch your coaster crash along with collecting money to unlock new vehicles and collecting a variety of powerups such as the chain lift. It is easy to tell that the developer
has put a lot of work into this app! Thank you Dan & please continue your amazing work! I've never had so much fun playing "educational" games and I'm 17! Whether your a kid, adult, or coaster fanatic do not be afraid to make the purchase & have fun playing this game!
A Thrill Ride!
My 10 year old and her best friend love this game! It takes a bit of practice to learn the skills needed to get the achievements, but the process of learning is a lot of fun--the girls love building crazy roller coasters and watching them crash! I like that the game is indirectly teaching them critical thinking skills, because we've learned that in order to get an achievement, you have to plan carefully. Of course, the girls aren't aware that they're learning--they're just having a ton of fun! :) Highly recommended! :)
I was disappointed in this app. Though I tried valiantly for many hours, I couldn't make a working roller coaster. I was able to begin one, without support, and that was a hard learning curve, but how to get it stopped... No! As an adult, I was not interested in watching my coaster cars crash, and that was what this program is really good at. The suggested age of approx 8-10 (?) might possibly love to see the coaster cars crash, so may be entertained watching that, but I wanted to engineer a working coaster, and that seems well out of reach without some instructions.
