Your money and level reset when you burn the building down

Maybe i read incorrectly but i read that when you burn the building down, all upgrades done to each floor are reset. I thought "eh that stinks but whatever. I have $4T so i can upgrade them back up pretty quick plus im curious as to whether it has a cool animation"(it does not, by the way). Oh how wrong i was. Not only your floor upgrades reset - nearly the ENTIRE GAME resets!!!! You keep the people you unlocked using real life money but other than that, kiss e v e r y t h i n g goodbye. Your personal upgrades are gone, your personal level is reduced back to 1, and your money is reduced back to $0!!!!! Im so annoyed. Dont waste your time nor money on this game, unless you are cool with getting a notification to burn the building down till you do it and immediatly erasing all your progress as soon as its done. Uninstalled immediatly lol not getting any more of my time nor my money

No goal, instructions, strategy, or point.

I don't understand what I'm doing at all. There are no instructions, at least none that make sense. So, just keep tapping on stuff? Is there a goal? A strategy? Something/someone I should watch out for that could upset my progress? The answer to all of these questions appear to be "no". Just tap to earn money. I think at some point, if you earn enough, you can get Milton to burn down the building. But apparently you keep earning money while you're not actively playing, so where's the incentive to get me to bother tapping on my own? I feel like I'm missing some crucial information here, but I don't think that's the case. It's just as brainless and boring as it appears to be. Which is sad because I LOVE the movie.

Utterly Baffling.

I was in high school when Office Space came out, and I've seen it so many times that I can pretty much recite it verbatim. I don't understand what this game has to do with the movie, aside from some licensed characters and actor likenesses. The first "task" is to tap the screen furiously for ten minutes until you build up $1,000,000 (seriously), and then you... tap empty rooms to upgrade them(?) and add characters to them(?) in order to advance(?) in the game. Is this even a game? Honestly, this app has me questioning whether we, as a species, have any reason for existing. Thanks to the dev I am now burdened by a crushing sense of ennui, and I can no longer recall my life before downloading Office Space. Like Sartre, I am now adrift in an ocean of meaninglessness. I feel nothing. I said no salt!
