The questions in this exam practice app were created by the American Board of Toxicology and incorporate the practices used to create the certification examination. Questions were reviewed by subject matter experts utilizing the examination content outline to ensure that only the practice questions are indicative of those on the actual exam. This app covers the Domains listed in the Candidate Manual on the ABT website. These domains were derived from a practice analysis study of the knowledge required for general toxicology. In the manual, the domains are further divided into tasks. The ABT exam tests the knowledge and/or skills needed to perform these tasks.
I. Design, Execute, and Interpret Toxicology Studies
II. Descriptive Toxicology: Environmental, Clinical, Non-clinical, and Forensic Investigations
III. Mechanistic Toxicology
IV. Risk Assessment (A. Hazard Identification; B. Exposure Assessment; C. Dose Response Assessment; and D. Risk Characterization and Management)
V. Applied Toxicology: Public, Environmental, and Occupational Health
Bug fixes and performance improvements.
Ratings and Reviews
I wish it was possible to get a stream of questions (and answers), without having to go through the gimmick of ten questions a day or test format etc: I never manage to get questions, just practice questions. I don’t care so much about ten a day etc
Ok to use. Sometimes feels repetitive. Conveniently shared apple and android accounts.
Great study tool but a little outdated references
This tool provides a great way to get in a little extra studying every day. The dashboards are a cool feature. I love the Q of the day and the customizable quick exams. I highly recommend it.
Most of the answers reference C&D 7 ed and even the 6th ed. The information is still relevant but I want to know where to look in C&D 8th ed since that is the primary reference and I am using that to study. Also, I would like more in-depth answer explanations to help me learn and remember the minutiae.
