Omni gives you access to the things you need as you need them.
Rent items from the community and access them at your convenience. From pressure washers to electric bikes there's something in here for everybody and every occasion.
Store and manage your items through the Omni app, too! Schedule a pick-up and a Concierge will come to you, collect your things, and photograph and list them beautifully in the app. Share them to earn money or keep them private, up to you.
We heard you loud and clear, Omni community! Between delivery and pick-up fees *and* committing to a set appointment time, booking rental appointments is sometimes less-than-convenient for your busy schedules! In this release, you’ll find the option to rent items and pick them up them from our San Francisco facility instead of waiting on a delivery! Also included in 4.1: more bug fixes for a pest-less Omni experience.

Not customer first
At first I thought that Omni was great, and I continue to think it’s a great idea. However, after missing an item pick up due to circumstances beyond my control I was charged $25. I had contacted the driver to tell him I’d miss the pick up, and was told that I’d be contacted by customer support. I didn’t hear from them and had to reach out to customer support myself. They did not inform me that I would be charged for each day I had the item. This is likely in their TOS, but it isn’t customer friendly not to mention that. Not knowing this I was made to pay an additional 5 days of rental fees. In the end a $20 sander cost me $40 to borrow for 2 days, and I’m not confident they won’t charge for wear and tear once it’s finally collected tomorrow. I get that it’s a startup, but good juju from users is going to be better in the long run that making those quick extra dollars. Giving 2 stars for good experience as long as things go according to plan, but I will not be using Omni again.
At first I thought Omni was awesome. There were some issues with my onboarding (someone else's items showed up in my account). A privacy concern to be sure, but it was resolved quickly. Needing to save some money, I recently withdrew my items on the 4th, only to find Omni charges you for the entire month regardless. There's no pro-rating for just a few days of use. I get that they're a startup and need all the money they can get, but this lack of flexibility is not customer-friendly or in-line with what you'd expect from an on demand company. Very disappointed they aren't more transparent about this policy. Won't be going back.
Like tomorrow. But today.
Sometimes a service comes out and it just feels like magic. That’s been my experience w/ Omni. They pick up your stuff, store it securely, and deliver it back when you need it - and also give you the chance to earn money on the stuff that normally sits in your closet. Can’t wait until they expand nationwide and offer transfers between cities. :)
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
