Ratings and Reviews
Great little app, excellent customer support
After experiencing a problem with access to Dropbox, I contacted ON1 support. They wrote back within a few hours advising to temporarily uninstall the Dropbox app, which solved the problem. Amazingly, a few hours later a new version that fixed the problem altogether was available. Yay ON1 support, you rock!
Fatally Flawed - app does not support landscape views
It is a useless app for those of us who shoot landscapes in landscape orientation - especially if you shoot panoramic images. The resulting view will be so small as to be totally worthless as a reviewing tool or a presentation tool. It ignores iPhone/iPad orientation and presents everything in Portrait orientation.
Users, like me, who shoot mostly horizontal images would be better served using Lightroom or some other app.
And now a snippy comment. No self-respecting photographer would use an app that only allows viewing images in portrait/vertical mode. That’s photo 101!
will not sync with OneDrive
ON1 is great for photo processing - the desktop program. However, any suggestion that there is sharing with MS OneDrive is a figment of someone’s imagination. OneDrive doesn’t even show up on the log-in screen of the app, and is not in the mobile preferences sign-in of the desktop program. if, for very good reasons, you want to use OneDrive, you are out of luck. The latest update I can find is several months old. There does no seem to be much interest in fixing this, or other issues noted in recent reviews.
