SMG's deepest, most nuanced game
One More Bounce is the latest in the "One More" series: the 4th title in a collection of twitch-reflex-based games (One More Line, One More Dash, One More Jump).
One More Bounce still has a bit of the same urgency as its forbears, and having good reflexes will help you. But with 'Bounce,' rhythm and pacing play a much more important role. Playing this game is a bit like balancing a large stack of bowls and plates as a restaurant server, or else timing your entrance into a pair of Double Dutch jump ropes. Patience is paramount.
Given the gameplay's slower, more deliberate style, this is the least pick-up-and-playable of SMG's collection. But it's arguably also the studio's deepest title. For that reason alone, I can see myself playing this app well after I've put down the others. I applaud SMG for the creative risk here.
Paddle, ball, I have a paddleball!
SMG has always made accessible games, with great music, graphics, and amazing hooks.
This time they got me. A simple mechanic, and that great music, and I am now hovering at 5% on my iPad, and hoping the charge cable will keep me treading water as I play!
Draw a line. It's length determines how high you bounce,it's angle where you bounce towards. Collect the diamonds, and finish your puzzle. Oh, wait, red walls surround you(at times) and are a big no no! As the game progresses, more challenges await, investigate them yourselves.
First time I have given out a 5 star review.
Consider me the Weekly Famitsu(notorious for their videogame reviews, of which less than 20, have scored a perfect rating over the last 20 years !),of app reviews.
Even the ads, aren't that distracting. No joke.

Overall a 5 star game, mastered by a company with an ever expanding portfolio of good games. Now, though, they've broken the ceiling, and have a great game, with a great hook, and have me smiling like a great, big, goof!

Amazing
Game idea is both original and creative. Would definitely recommend to friends. It is easy to pick up but a real pain to advance in, which is what I absolutely adore about this game. The app takes around 30 seconds to open but is really worth the wait once you get into the game.
