The Movie of your Life!
Imagine a movie that includes every day of the rest of your life…

FEATURED by Apple, Fast Company, TED, CNN, BBC, & countless more!

For over 4 years now, I've been recording 1 second every day, so I'll never forget another day ever again. This project has had such a profoundly positive impact on my life, that I've passionately developed an App that will make it extraordinarily easy for anyone to do this too.

Being able to quickly relive every single day of my life has provided me with a treasured perspective on life. It holds me accountable for making each day count.

When I turn 40, I'll have a 1 hour compilation that encapsulates my 30s. If I live to see 80 years of age, I'll have a 5-hour video that summarizes 50 years of my life.

1SE is a minimalist video diary.

+ The App accesses any videos currently in your camera roll & sorts them by date.

+ Setup friendly reminders so you never forget a day!

+ Keep multiple timelines! You could have one for yourself… for each of your kids… your dinner… what you wear every day… etc! Looking forward to endless creative interpretations!

+ 1SE Crowds! Submit a second from your life to videos made up from hundreds of us... Let's view everyday life from countless of perspectives!

+ Super Seconds! It gives you an extra 50% more time when you need it!

+ Chosen seconds back up with the app in iCloud (if you back up your phone with iCloud)

+ Compile any given amount of time desired—the last month, year, or just select a start and end date.

+ Once you've selected a day's second, you can remove the original video from your camera roll. The App copies the second and keeps it within the App itself.

+ Your seconds are privately held on your phone. You never have to share this with anyone if you don't want to. The primary purpose of this App is to help you remember your own life. Sharing is optional.

What's New in Version 1.93

Thank you everyone for your support and welcome to all our new 1SE users who heard us on NPR's TED Radio Hour.

Fixes & Improvements in version 1.93:
- Fixed crashes when selecting photos.
- Fixed weird scaling and cropping of videos from other sources. Please be aware you will NEED to reselect these snippets. Unfortunately there's no way for us to do this automatically.
- The mashing process has been upgraded to better communicate what's going on.
- Fixed some iOS 7 specific bugs (upgrading to iOS8 highly recommended).
- Further integration of iCloud support.

We would love to hear any and all feedback. Please email any questions, ideas, or words of encouragement to We're here to help.

Very cool app!!

I know we're supposed to records each second horizontally, but it would make a huge difference if the videos that were recorded vertically could at least be centered on the screen. When I insert a video recorded vertically oftentimes some of it is cut off of it's awkwardly located towards the side of the screen. I love this app but it has a poor visual appeal during its presentation that holds it back. Thank you and I hope you can get an update by the end of the summer to correct this because I'm doing an entire summer timeline.

Having the same problems

I have been trying to select a clip from my camera roll for the past 5 day slots. Every time I get to the point of selecting the scissors for the crop, the thumbnail turns black and my selection was not saved. This is starting to get annoying so I really hope it can get fixed soon. Other than that I recommend this cool app. I have six months worth of clips and I can't wait to complete the year.

.93 seconds?

I really enjoy using this application, I'm not highly affected by the occasional crashes and bugginess when it comes to compiling and previewing movies, but I am bothered by the 0.93 second clips from the current version. It's like the options are to either have a super second or a fraction of a second. Can we just stay true to the name of the app? Less is not more!
