Broken and poor planning
I guess I shouldn't have waited so long. Greatly disappointed in your fancy new app. I do not have iOs 7.1 loaded as I am still on an older iPhone. (If it still works fine...) I have attended every day but Saturday and stopped to talk to one of the people at the One Spark kiosks to inquire about the app and they told me that Apple was holding up the update. I told them that I didn't want to sit at the table to do all of my voting and that I would do it at home on my computer. They neglected to tell me that I had to check in first. So not only am I not able to vote, I left the fest early to vote and am unable to do so. Thanks.
The app loaded fine, but I wish it remembered my login so that I didn't have to sign in every. single. time I opened the app. It would also be nice to be able to access schedules and other general info without having to log in—this just creates a barrier that drove me to use the mobile website instead of the app. Also, kept getting error messages when trying to vote—rendering the app even more pointless.
Once again this 'app' is nothing but a glorified mobile website with an app style header and footer. No way to go back to the page you were on when looking more in depth at a project. No custom made map built from the projects you have bookmarked. I don't understand how this festival raises so much money yet won't invest in creating a good app that is easy to use and helpful. Don't put out an app if you aren't going to put any effort into it.
